Jay is a amazing blacksmith and person. His knowledge of metallurgy is unparalleled and I've personally learnt a great deal from him. His dedication and passion for his craft sets him apart from others and his attention to detail is profound to say the least. I would highly recommend Jason for all your Blacksmithing needs from medallions to knives and large private commissions, you will not be disappointed.

We met Jason while visiting the various artists at the Alton Mill and immediately thought of a project we needed done, to solve a problem at the top of our staircase. He was a pleasure to work with, so knowledgeable and has great sense of aesthetic, helping guide us to the right solution. He did a fantastic job and when I made an error in measurement, he was very gracious about it; took the pieces back and re-worked them, (even had them re-painted) very reasonably, both in time and cost. We were very pleased with the entire process. Highly recommend! A kind and conscientious, highly skilled craftsman, with integrity. A rare find these days! Thanks Jason!
