RidgeView Resort

Best camping experience you will ever have. Gorgeous resort, indoor and amazing outdoor pool with cabanas, snack shack, live music on weekends and more! Super fantastic for the kiddos and we can’t dream of camping anywhere else. Also, if you don’t camp they have vacation home rentals available as well! Perfect for everyone. Quick trip from Calgary makes this gem even more amazing!Also, the staff and volunteers and owners and members… all really great people who strive to make this place feel like home for everyone. They treat you like family!

The RidgeView Resort is our 111th stop for us and we stayed 2 nights. Overall, would rate it a 4.3. The office staff at check in were super nice and efficient. You have great mature trees throughout the park which give a lot of shade in the afternoon sun. The views from the ridge (minus the lumber mill) were awesome, especially at sunset. The bathrooms and laundry rooms were very clean. If you are coming here with a family, there are many things to do with a including a large and fenced in playground area, miniature golf, volley ball and other amenities. And the recreation center is updated and large and has indoor pool/hot tub as well as a racquetball court. The wide paved roads are nice and appreciate the dog owners having dogs on leashes as we did not experience any issues. There is no dog park but the outside road loop is a nice half mile walk – they do charge a pet fee. A couple of challenges. When coming in, you had to pull up to a very narrow gate house area where you have to exit the motor home to use the intercom. The problem is there was little clearance to open the door and the stair nearly rested on the curb. And for set up, I appreciate the patio area; however, with a slide out on the passenger slide plus the door, had to maneuver the coach to be on the backside of the pad and far away from the utilities to open them. Was reassigned to another spot when checking in. As a couple with no children, why put is on the main road right across from the playground? And speaking of the road, 20 km/hr is high as that means 30+ for most drivers – a lot of speeding, especially near the playground. And if you are a resort, invest a bit more on WiFi like most campgrounds have. Lastly, if you have problems following rules (which we are not), you will sign a rules contract with very specific fines noted. Overall, we really enjoyed our short stay here. This resort is fantastic. I have been coming here since I was a young kid and this is now my families main getaway. The resort staff are awesome, the owners are approachable and will answer any questions. The amenities are plenty. There is so much to do on the resort itself. It is a great place to meet new people and collaborate on activities and food pot lucks! This not a one season resort, there are many amenities and facilities to use year round. Rent a house in the winter for a mini vacation. RidgeView has been our decompression chamber for many years and we look forward to many more years of relaxation and great times!

This rv resort is very well situated and has high end fully serviced rv sites with cabanas and barbecues provided. The sites are very large and level. The recreation facility is very clean with indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, recreation room, racketball/squash court, games room and a quiet room.

The staff here are incredible! The grounds are meticulously cared for and thoughtfully planned out! Amazing spot for families with young kids!

This campground has absolutely the best facilities around the Rock Mountains areas. Each site has a beautiful cabana with a huge picnic table and benches and a bbq and built in electric outlet, most of them are well treed. The center has an outdoor swimming pool and indoor swimming pool, table tennis as well. Tennis court, basketball yard, a picnic house with a big fire pit and so on. It is within the town boundary, just 5 minutes away from Radium hot springs and grocery store. They don't have a fire pit on your site, however, you can bring or rent a propane fire pit during your stay. Absolutely no complaints about here.

Stayed in one of the houses you can rent. They allow dogs which is nice and have everything you need in the house so you don’t have to worry about brining anything other then your own food and drinks. They have lots of amenities which I was surprised by. They have a playground, basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool, a games room, and room where you can play games and build puzzles, they also have a gym and a room to do work. Definitely would stay at again.

We would highly recommend this resort for your vacation. We stayed in house 66 and it was perfect for the 6 of us! It would fit 8 very comfortably. We had everything we could have needed, it was incredibly clean, and close to amenities. The pool and recreation center were also wonderful and very clean. It was about and hour and a half to either Lake Lousie or Banff and the drive is gorgeous! I wish we could have rented this location for the entirety of our stay and would definitely stay again!
