Data Recovery Guy was able to recover my business plan and personal photos extremely fast - in only a couple of days! And for only a fraction of the cost of some online companies I researched! I recommend them as a great place to go for data recovery. I found them fast and reliable and they told me the risks and likelihood of recovery once they analyzed the drive. I was referred to Rui, Data Recovery Guy, by Kal of Orange Computer, who is an excellent computer repair person, but he saw that my problem was worse than I thought. The only solution was hard-drive recovery and Rui Pereira was a specialist in this area. Rui explained to me how he was going to proceed, how much time it would take and how much it would cost. Rui did an excellent job and recovered what was possible, transferring my photos and documents to a portable HD. Rui and the Data Recovery Guy are the BEST! I had a 2TB WD external hard drive go out and was so disappointed. I had at least 15 years of pictures, videos, movies, music, paperwork, and more on it. My experience was terrific. My external hard drive crashed and my back-up crashed the same day. I was frantic (that's an understatement!). Great service! We had an issue with the SD card that held all of our wedding photos. Unfortunately we still lost a lot BUT they did everything they could and we were able to get some of the photos! I'm not kidding either- he did everything in his power to get us some wedding pics off that card! Worth sending it to Windsor for sure!!!

My old laptop crashed on me in early July. I went to Staples to try their data recovery service. My hard drive was sent for examination. Staples determined it a level 4 which is their highest data recovery service. It would cost me $1400 from Staples with no guarantee of getting my information. I declined their services, requested my hard drive sent back to me. I brought it to Rui at Data Recovery Guy [within Silicon Direct] on Jefferson. His initial examination is $25 to look at it.
