the staff doesn’t have a friendly behaviour.. Some of them are nice but others doesn’t care about the customer and shows weird attitude.. kinda racism..Wouldn’t go there next time.

On my first day in Nova Scotia after 3 months of Van camping in the States, I visited this Sobeys to get some basic supplies and fish to BBQ for dinner. The store was clean and well stocked, and the staff friendly. Why I’m writing this review, though, is because of Matthew in the seafood department. Matthew went above and beyond to find great pieces of fish for my husband and I to grill tonight. He did this with an understanding and poised manner. Thank you, Matthew, for making my first day in NS much better!

Used to be better when it was open 24 hours, it was really useful to have at least one shop in town doing so! But at least you still can catch an okay deal every blue moon.

Today I went in to get watermelon, and was told by the lady I had to wait 30 minutes for her to do it. I waited the 30 minutes and went back and she told me I was still going to have to wait! I saw another worker and he did it immediately, I have never been treated so poorly by any grocery store. Don't you value your customers?

The store is usually very clean, well stocked, but also known for being much higher priced than any of their local competition for same type items. You pay more, but it's easier to find since they do not sell as quickly as other stores. Always something to find at a better price than expected, you just have to look. It is always in your best interest to read the Flyers before shopping here, so you know you are getting the best price on the items you are buying, and not as many surprises that you could have gotten the same item elsewhere, much cheaper. Beware of their 2 for 1 sales. Their prices are inflated before the sales markdown, and you likely are not saving any money.
