My wife and I decided to have Southfield replace all our windows and doors in our home last spring (June 2018). We were pleasantly surprised how beautiful everything looked once it was installed but we decided to wait until winter to see exactly how well they would insulate. We now cannot believe how much less our furnace is running and our heating bill started to drop each month to the point where we are now saving about 30% compared to what our bill was before.All in all we did our due diligence when deciding to spend 20k+ on the replacement of our windows and doors and are delighted that they are performing beyond expectations. After numerous quotes for exterior doors, my sister recommended Southfield Windows and Doors to us, so we decided to contact them. We are so glad we did. Our experience with Southfield Windows and Doors was excellent from the first day Hardy, our sales rep, came out to provide a quote to the final day of install. Both Hardy and Jason were exceptional to deal with. They kept us apprised of the entire process and our doors were installed earlier than expected.Hardy, was more than attentive and made sure the job was completed perfectly. He was even sure to stop by at the time of install to ensure everything was going to plan as well as after install to ensure the quality was as expected.The install crew was a pleasure to deal with as well. They were professional and polite the entire process. They had our two doors installed and cleaned up within four hours. Southfield has completed windows and doors for us over these last 6 years. The windows were completed first. The warmth we immediately felt after their replacement was unbelievable. The quality is very high and so well made. The decrease in sound coming in from outside really indicated the deterioration of the old ones. Their professionalism was excellent. Their cleanup was fantastic and appreciated. All of this, along with their competitive pricing, meant we were going straight to them with our door replacement. Communication with Jason and his team was easy and had very quick responses to our questions. Just a phenomenal job done making the custom doors (and screen doors) to our color and design specifications. The same results also - no more draft, no more outside sounds, and the doors feel heavy and secure. I would recommend Southfield to anyone looking to shop locally and be confident in their purchase of windows and doors.

Great people to deal with. Quality products. We had a big problem with our mudroom door leaking water in to the house. Another well known, local company which I won't name, quoted us the job also. After prying the sales woman for exact details of the warranty breakdown for our renovation, she said the workmanship warranty is only 2 years. Regardless of a 20 year warranty on the window/door products, its only good for 2 years because they use sub contractors to install the products. The salesman Hardy for Southfield stated that they are a local company, using as much Canadian products as they can. Hardy also mentioned they don't use sub contractors to farm out the jobs too, and collect a percentage third party. Jason and Hardy both told me, and in writing if we have any issues with anything, that's product related, or install related, they will fix it. Not just 2 year warranty. Got it in writing. That kind of honesty is what got my business. Ill be having them return to do the rest of my windows 100% for sure. They installed a new single hung slider in my kids room, its like a whole new room! They cleaned everything. The trim is straight. Southfield did what I asked them to do, and delivered a quality product. Thanks guys.

I need to start by saying that the entire experience I had with Southfield Windows and Doors was excellent- from beginning to end. The quoting process and installation service we received was extremely professional.Hardy was an excellent account executive to deal with. He gave us his honest opinion on everything related to window installation, and what would look best in each room.We had originally asked for our windows to be installed in late-August to early-September. However, we re-evaluated and found out that we could move the install date up to late-May to early-June. Hardy and Jason were able to pull some strings and work within that timeline. Our windows were installed way earlier than we originally scheduled.The install team was extremely professional, on time, and finished the install as quickly as possible. One of our bay window frames was not square at all. The install team was able to custom make a window fitting for us on-site within two hours. The finished product looks absolutely spectacular- the rooms look bigger, and we are already seeing the savings on our heating and cooling bill. Hardy even stopped by during the install to check on the crew, and how the installation was going- just to make sure that everyone would be happy with the final product.We are already quoting the replacement of our front and back doors with Southfield. Call us customers for life. As long as we are in the area and need window or door work performed, we will be calling Southfield.
