U.S. Customs and Border Protection: Lewiston Bridge Complex

Dude was power hungry for no reason and disrespectful. Searched us and never told us why

Sometimes it's quick and at other times there can be a wait, especially if there is another bus ahead of you.Staff are frie6and professional.

Is very bad service over there. The officers they are not respectable with the people they check my car First they scan my VAN, second the check by the dogs third the check by their hand and by their eye, and all this is not enough. They broke the slide door. And they make a hole on the door. I have one skid with me. It has a laptop they open this box’s actually, they didn’t open it they Tear up the boxes. And when I ask them to give me a proof this box is open by the police of the border they answer me we cannot give you any proof I told him this is my responsibility. What can I tell the customer now? Now I am on my way to the customer and only God knows if they’re going to receive this or not or maybe they’re going to charge me money for these boxes because they don’t gonna believe the police open this boxes because I have no proof. I hope a senior official sees my comment and works to change this mess out there. Thank you God bless America.

It could always be faster. Having 20 aisles but only three or four open at a time is insane

T’was an eventful night. 8:30 PM. We were on the QEW from Hamilton bound for the border. We took the exit from the dense yet fast highway onto the road that would take us to the border. Not one other car in sight. It was just us on an unlit road. The eerie lights of the occasional truck entering Canada were the only thing to be seen. For five minutes we drove in silence and before we knew it… we had arrived at the border crossing. There was no toll! We went straight through the lit yet completely empty Canadian side and suddenly we were on the other side. The lack of light had us totally miss that we had crossed a very tall bridge. The crossing process was fast and we were over in minutes. This is the least busy border crossing experience ever. Not that it’s always like this, but if you’re crossing at 8:30 on a Thursday night… you’re in for a treat.

Applied for a work visa there on early Tuesday it was not too busy. When I arrived and checked in it turned out my appointment was for next week. I was ready to fold but officers Beaton and Kennedy went above and beyond to squeeze me in for a spot. Graciously, I am very thankful to the staff for doing that and making it an easy process. Blessings

The Duty Free is surprisingly large and the restrooms are very clean.

Wow! Were we Canadians impressed! The border guard was professional and courteous, but when asked our destination, we said to attend a funeral and he said, Sorry for your loss". What a beautiful expression to hear from another human being! The same thing happened the day before my sisters crossed over. We send our sincerest appreciation to the staff and management of this agency. Thanks again

So I was not aware that mangosteen is prohibited to the USA. I was asked if I had fruits. I told and it was taken. However, I had 6 bars of chocolate in the bag and the officer examined the bag but did not return my chocolate. I realized when I was too far away. Very untrustworthy.
