Silvertip Golf Course

I came here for a wedding and I wish I would have snuck in a round as well. The staff was super friendly the food and drinks were great.My next time in Canmore I would love to at least shoot for a 9.

The course was top-notch! It's definitely hard, but it's super fun. The boys that met us at the bag drop were awesome. They had our carts loaded quickly and were super professional. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the food at the pub was not worth having, especially for the price. I would have sooner taken 10 minutes and driven to The Wood or Grizzly Paw for lunch instead.

What a round! We had a great time here playing 18 in the mountains. Beautiful course and scenery that would be hard to beat. Course was in excellent shape and we had lots of fun. After we went for a bit to eat overlooking the 18th hole. Food was good, service was not so good but I think it was just our server. Certainly trying to make this a yearly event!

The course is absolutely incredible! Very challenging, but worth every stroke. I highly recommend playing this course if you have the chance. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Thanks to Evan and the staff at the pro shop for finding my lost club, and assuring it was returned to me. Looking forward to returning for a round much sooner than later.

Absolutely breathtaking even with mostly cloudy weather. It was cart path only and we should have taken the advice of the starter and gotten a flag to drive on the course. We forget that we are not young any more and it just about killed us. It also made the round slower and we were getting the push from the ranger to pick up our pace. There were holes that were under construction but nature and other plans for that area. We were compensated with $10 each coupons that we used in the restaurant…. Had a delicious meal. This course did not disappoint.

Absolutely breathtaking!!. One of the nicest Golf course I've played on... Harder than most courses due to elevation changes... but loved it.Service was excellent, towel and a bottle of water was ready for us once the carts where loaded.

Beautiful location with spectacular views in 360 degrees and from every hole. Beware though that there are several holes that are being redesigned and entirely rebuilt.

We would highly recommend Silvetip as a wedding venue. First of all, Tara was a fantastic events coordinator: she was available to talk on the phone and answered emails promptly, she was highly organised and anticipated all of our needs and helped the wedding day run smoothly. The venue was well laid out and professionally run. The food went above and beyond our expectations and all the staff on the evening were friendly and helpful. The patio they have that overlooks the three sisters mountains is a fantastic added bonus - we had our ceremony on the patio and got some amazing wedding photos out there too!

I was excited to play this course, was here in 2007 and loved it......The return trip was underwhelming. So much construction going on and the other holes that aren't under construction seem neglected in various ways. This picture of Hole 18 sign kinda sums it up. Such a shame to have a beautiful place like this go downhill so much.
