So far so good. First appointment today and Dr Strong and all of his staff were very thorough and friendly. I had read the reviews but went in with an open mind as experts in the field are often more focused on the problem rather than an owners feelings. Will be going back with Fozzie for followup and surgery with absolutely no regrets and full confidence in them. Update Fozzie's surgery went very well and is already fully recovered, Thanks again.

Very friendly, efficient and accommodating practice. Both of our dogs have visited and we were very pleased with the professionalism, follow up and communication. Our Jax had what will likely be a life-changing treatment for dry eye and we couldn't be happier. Thank you to all of the entire team!

When I first booked the appointment here I was a little bit worried, especially after reading the mixed reviews. But after going here I was happy that I did. My little girl had a badly damaged/infected eye, and Dr Strong and his team took such good care of her. He was very empathetic when he delivered the bad news to me (that my old girls eye would need to come out). He made sure I was ok, told me that this was not my fault and to not blame myself. He was also very informative and made sure I understood everything.Don't be afraid to go here. Yes it is a little pricey, but this is a specialty vet clinic. Those are never cheap. The 400 dollar consultation fee is worth it. Dr Strong spent around 30-40 minutes examining my injured girl. Not just 5-10 minutes that other reviews has stated.

I'm writing this to warn you about the unprofessional and negligent behavior of Toronto Animal Eye Clinic. My experience with them was extremely disappointing and frustrating.Firstly, they recommended the exact same treatment that had already made my cat's condition worse in the first place. When I asked them to take the names of the medication that caused the issue, they refused and didn't explain why they were recommending the same course of treatment. They completely disregarded my cat's prior medical history. To make things worse, they hung up on me when I kept insisting on giving them the name of the original medication. When I called them back, they suddenly said they were discontinuing the treatment and refunded me. This left me feeling confused and hopeless.I have spent more than $5000 on appointments, medication, and consults, only to receive the exact same recommendation as the very first time. The vet's course of treatment was based on a herpes diagnosis, even though he said he did not test for it. He also disregarded my cat's previous medical history and simply said, well

If i could give this place 6 stars I absolutely would. Dr Wolfer saved my dogs life. The care that he and his amazing staff have for animals is exceptional. Our dog was in horrible shape after being diagnosed with Blastomycosis and we knew removal of his eye was necessary in order for his anti fungal medication to begin working. Every day that passed with his infected eye remaining brought his chances of survival down exponentially. Despite a total lack of availability and a packed schedule, the Eye Clinic moved things around for us and even came in our their own time to ensure our dog was seen immediately and taken care of subsequently. Dr Wolfer also suggested that we try an experimental procedure on his other eye to save it- when doctors prior stated that it HAD to be removed. The surgery was a success, his one eye was removed perfectly and the experimental procedure worked! Our pup now has almost perfect vision in the one eye and the other looks amazing, the scar is barely visible and he is still as cute as ever. We are now 10 months post op with a healthy and happy boy all thanks to the incredible Animal Eye Clinic. Thank you thank you thank you. The very best, most kind and considerate, skilled and knowledgeable- would highly highly recommend!!

I believe they did a good job with my dog's cataract surgery ; however, they are very expensive they charge almost 9k per eye. Pet insurance gives for that surgery a little more than 6k as max.

Took my dog here for cataract surgery and they did an excellent job - the eye healed wonderfully (we are 1 month post-op)! All the staff answered any questions we had (and there were a lot of questions) about the recovery process with patience and treated my dog with so much love and respect during each follow up appointment. Very thankful for the support from this clinic!

Zero professionalism. The only thing the nurses care about is money. After my dog had a surgery to enhance the retina, the only thing shown on the paper is his right eye is stable. Is my dogs eye well now? his left eye is blind now! They just tell you yeah yeahYeah he is pretty good now, and try to let us go. And nobody even explained us why the hell is like this! After we pay the fees, we are like abandoned and no one will care if my dog had any problem. The surgery is done for almost 3 weeks and my dogs eyes are still inflamed and no one tells us what should we do. I cannot imagine we did a 12k dollars eye surgery.

My dog was diagnosed with an eye ulcer that required surgery. This specialty eye clinic has some of the most amazingly caring staff I have ever met. My dog went in this morning for the surgery and she's home now. There was a lot of communication and very detailed instructions about the medications. I appreciate the time staff took to explain processes to me as well as some new medications I was not familiar with. We go back in about two weeks. I am so thankful for the care taken by these staff members where my dog is concerned. Thanks to everyone at this clinic who made a scary experience the best it could be.

Horrible Crooks. Quoted an exam fee. And billed credit card prior to booking appoint. We get there. Very nice people. They call us in car 2 or 3 times in the 20 min we were there. When they were done the call and say credit card declined. Which made no sense as we had already prepaid almost 400.00. But we were stuck. They said ot cost a little extra for the test and asked for a new card. They processed a charge and brought out a bill for additional 479.00. Without prior consent so almost 900.00 for 20 min. Exam. We called and said they billed us too much that it only should be the difference from what we prepaid and the crooks said no that additional was 500.00. Never in my life have I seen robbery like that. Beware of these crooks. I will also be posting on all social media
