I recently attended IELTS exam at 500 Shaftesbury Blvd. They provided excellent service despite the pandemic. The only problem I had was regarding the writing section of the test. It is optional to use pen or pencil for the IELTS writing section, but when I asked for a pen they told that the exam is done only with pencil. Please look into this as some people like me find it more comfortable to write with pen.

Hi i gave my test on 29 oct , the headphones they gave us have very low volume 2 time change my headsets and still volume remain I missed my section due to their technical issues moreover they play recording for testing more than 7 time no one sure about volume and very tensed about test more than 10 candidates change their headphones while test going on i file complaint let see what they will do but we didn’t pay alot for this staff also look very worried becoz they know volume is not enough still they continue the test

I wrote my test yesterday Jan 19,2023.I came from Spain and decided to do the ielts test. I chose this center.Everything was so well organised and the people working there explained everything so well.Very polite.

They do not answer their phone if you have any question. It is very important during these days of pandemic but you just can email and get your answer after 10 days.They do not have different examiners in speaking test and if you need to take the test again the same person is there and you lose the opportunity to have different opinions.ETC central in Winnipeg is awful. Try to do your test with IDP or somewhere other than etc if you do not want to waste your money.

It was a conducive environment for exams. There's a 2 hour parking but there was a street parking about 3 minutes walk away from the centre.

It is my first time taking an ielts exam in Winnipeg and I decided to take it with ETC Central. I needed to change my test date and got some questions, though I could not call them, they answered my email quickly. I got clear instructions on what to do and concerning the fees to change the date. The pandemic is awful and I do understand how busy it could be for the exam centre, so no complaints for the phone call problem.The service I received through the email was decent and clear. Thank you so much for your help, please maintain such efficiency in the future!
