Love the Hockey Town Cafe. They don't have a large menu but they have enough of a variety that you'll find something. The food was good and not too expensive. The atmosphere is amazing and the service was really good. Any time I'm back home, I eat at the Hockey Town Cafe, you have to give it a try. Especially if there's a game that day, it can be a lot of fun inside with all the sports fans.

I went on the day they said they were trying out the new menu. I have often passed by but I wanted to give this place a try. It was good... Definitely a fun place for families but they could still make some tweaks. Honestly my side" mac and cheese could have been an entree. It was good but not so good I'd eat 2 entrees back to back. Otherwise as I said it was fun especially the sliders."

The spinach dip was really good. However.. Everything was slow. It would have been fine but there were only maybe 4 other tables of people there on a Saturday afternoon. Our appetizer came at the same time as our meals which was disappointing. Our drinks came out really slow, first the bartender wasn’t around to make them and then when he did make them our waitress was gone and we could see them sitting there complete for another 5 minutes.

So I haven't been here in a while and decided to come out here for a comedy show with the wife. She had never been here before. When we came in we were greeted by the people at the door and led to a table. Our waitress Carly was very nice and professional. And she had a very upbeat personality. The music was 80s and 90s throwback hip-hop and R & B. Which was right up both of our Alleys. We were almost going to leave because my wife was looking for something a little bit different on the menu. But after getting a couple drinks and looking around at all the other orders that people were getting, she decided to stay. I'm glad she did. I ordered the hockey Town Burger and she ordered the Maurice Salad. And let me tell you it was amazing! And you can't go wrong with a side of tater tots and Buffalo chicken. Definitely will come back here again when we come back in June for the 70 Summer Jam. Thanks for a great experience guys and gals! Lastly, it's very rare when you go into an establishment in the restrooms are as clean as they are. But, this place takes their bathrooms very serious because when I came in it was immaculate! Thanks again.

We visited on a Saturday (no home games in town) and it wasn't very busy. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our food, especially the loaded potato skins with bbq pulled pork - yummy! We thought pricing was a little above average, but I guess pricing is up everywhere. We would definitely try it out again if we find ourselves in the area.

To preface this I will say that I have given this place a shot twice.I'm finally leaving a review after my last visit. Yes, this will 100% be my last visit. This place is a joke. Both times I have been severely disappointed. Our most recent trip, 04-30-23, was some of the worst service I have had in a long time. Our server, Ashley, was incredibly inattentive. When she happened to be around, which was rare, she was very rude and short with us.This place has a severely simplistic menu, not a terrible thing, and it's generally done to cut food costs and expedite service, However, even though we had no wait for a seat, and with this super limited menu, it still took over an hour to get our two meals. Mind you the waitress had only come around ONCE for that entire hour. That was when I finally got my one and only refill, after asking for it.-Incredibly dirty/dingy bathroom. Tiles falling from the ceiling, graffiti and cut marks on all of the walls, and the men's room label was ripped" off of the wall so women kept mistakenly coming into the men's room. This bathroom was absolutely disgusting.-The appetizers were brought out by random people

Waitress was friendly and suggested drinks we ended up loving. Deep dish pizza was good, burger was dry, and wings were overcooked. The atmosphere was kid friendly, and there is cool stuff to look at if you're a sports fan.

On Tuesday June 13th at around 6pm, I walked inside this location and immediately saw the host stand in the center of the lobby. There were three hosts present. One girl with (colored braids I believe) had the most disgusted and intensely intimidating looks on her face, as if she couldn’t be bothered by the people walking in. Not even in the restaurant for 6 seconds I was already uncomfortable, and had asked her if there was a restroom I could use. She then proceeded to tell me that it was “out of order”. There was a tigers game and a concert at the Fillmore during this time, and I believe that workers were told to deny access to the bathrooms, I’m sure they worked perfectly fine for customers. Will not be returning here or giving my business here again. As a prior hostess myself, I understand that the person who is greeting the door should appear welcoming and happy to assist, not looking like they are ready to argue.
