I dropped by a few days ago to get the battery replaced in my watch. When talking to the lady at the counter, she asked if I planned on sticking around while they change the battery. it takes about 10 or so minutes and it was pouring rain outside so I said yes.After I got my watch back and I was having about jewelry, business (business is an interest of mine as well), ect with the lady I kind of felt like I was an inconveniencing them by bringing my watch in.There are a few other jewelery stores in town which I usually deal with when I need something and I honestly wouldn't recommend this one.

Took husband's watch in. Told needed over three hundred dollar repair. Not. Brought home put new battery in. Works great. . Now not sure if wife's watch that was fixed did not just need battery.....

do not use this business . In trying to get a watch battery replaced which seemed to take time ...the owner said the watch would have to be sent to their repairman in another town . When after some weeks of not hearing from them I collected my seiko dive watch only to find they had damaged a coil inside the movement and it cannot be replaced . One star is too many !!

Well, this will be one of the first times I have rated and shared an experience at a retailer, as I am a very understanding and easy to get along with individual, but this is worth sharing. Watch owners beware. As usual, half my watches are all needing batteries at the same time, was in Victoria the day before and had two of them replaced, it took about 5 minutes, 12 dollars a piece, proper case removal equipment etc at meticulous watch repair, very professional. Today, was heading Duncan way, figured I would replace a couple more, called ahead to Huyen, she said watch battery replacement was between 12 and 20, no problem so I took two watches in for batteries. Right away she said they would be 15 a piece, again, no problem. I must also say, the case design on these watches is exactly the same brand and type as the ones I had done at meticulous. The reason that is important is that she was gone for almost 15 minutes, I could see a bit in the back where they were working, and what I thought I was seeing was indeed the case, not a case opening tool , a small flat screwdriver and hammer, hitting the small notches to open the case!! When she came back she said it would be 20 each now, as they needed a “special tool” to open them and it was reasonable to charge more. Once more I said OK, happy to have them fixed, but mentioned that for other customers and another time it would be good to mention that before doing the work. She grabbed the watches and immediately said she would take the batteries out if I wasn’t happy, I again said no, I am happy to get them working, it was just a suggestion, to which she snapped that they didn’t know until they opened them that they needed a special tool??????? But, you know you needed the special tool before you opened it, so just mention that to the customer ahead of time!! This went no where, I paid for my watches, and as I got to my car with my son I had a look at the back and the case, completely scratched in multiple places, where??? Right where they had slipped off the little notches while banging it with a hammer and then had the screwdriver scrape across the case, multiple times and in multiple places!!!! Not impressed, but no use in going back in as they couldn’t even understand what I was trying to pass on about the cost change before doing the work!! Get you batteries somewhere else!! It’s like going in for a break job and coming back to have new tires at the same time, without asking ahead of time. I read similar reviews before going, but figured a battery change would be a simple one, I should have trusted them! I would given one star, but the batteries work, so that is something.

Very dissapointed. Bought my wife a necklace and pendant for our 30th anniversary. At the time I wasn’t sure what length necklace to get. The one that came with it was a white gold 18” chain. I asked the owner woman if it could be returned , she said no problem as long as it hadn’t been worn. No problem I said.I bought a 20” silver chain in case the other was too short. Well I was right it was too short , so my wife went in to exchange it, guess what. They wouldn’t honour the exchange they wanted another $120. I guess my business moves to another jewellers.

Such a great experience!Popped in to ask how much it would be to resize my engagement ring and dual wedding bands. I was given a very reasonable quote and received my newly resized rings within 3 days.They did a beautiful job!Very happy to have such a great local jeweller and goldsmith.5 star all the way!

My wife and walked into an empty store no other customers . The lady behind the counter was abrasive to be nice. After a few minutes another person came in and we were ignored. 2 other people came out the back to help this person. We were ignored completely. My wife and are are not flashy just regular people and not Starbuck flashy. My wife supports about 50k on 2 fingers and because of the way we were treated, definitely going eles where and you should too.

I went in on Thursday and received excellent service! The owner was very efficient and helpful. The girl who helped me was also very friendly. A good store with good service, I will come back.
