Watermark Beach Resort

Dislikes; The cost-saving measures are understandable, but considering the amount the hotel charges, the small things they could have done did not meet my expectations; poor quality toilet paper and the Kleenex. Breakfast was unavailable, so we had to visit the grocery store next door to the hotel. The area lacked options for breakfast. Suddenly, in the middle of the afternoon, the fire alarm sounded and we all had to evacuate. The painting job materials ended up being too close to the sensor, causing the alarm to go off.Likes; The hotel was pristine and equipped with a full-scale kitchen. The swimming pool and the water slide added fun for families with children. The beach was situated directly in front of the hotel so that it was easily accessible before and after a dip in the lake.

What a gorgeous location and a fantastic stay! We had the two bedroom beachfront Townhouse and loved it. The bathtubs were a huge highlight for me as it was deep and comfortable. The views are spectacular.The lake was cold but that was good!The pool, waterslide and hot tubs were so nice! Would definitely come back!

One of the best resorts in this trip to Canada. Lovely small town & our hotel was superb. Araunat ( hope i got his name right) - was amazingly & so were ALL the others at the resort. Excellent view. Extremely clean rooms. Must stay at Osoyoos!!!

Beautiful place with great amenities! Had an outdoor BBQ while my kids were enjoying the pool. The view was spectacular of the lake. Many options for dining directly nearby the hotel & Boston Pizza was a great family restaurant attached to the hotel. Beautiful decor in the lobby & rooms were well kept. Will come back in the summertime!

We just checked out of watermark and it was fantastic. This was our first time here and we were very impressed. From a seamless check in, to a clean room stocked with everything you need, a wonderful outdoor hot tub (a bit too hot but nice to have), great gym with a large amount of equipment (not old equipment, very well maintained), to wonderful staff who were beyond accommodating to our few requests. Thank you watermark for a wonderful weekend. We will definitely be back!

Very enjoyable stay. Lake view was great and unmatched on the lake. Pool was nice and the service on the pool deck was top notch. Check in was a bit later than I expected and also had to pay for the rooms on two bills so couldn't rate that part above a 3. The full kitchen meant we didn't have to eat every meal out, which was perfect. A great setup for anyone with kids or like us, travelling without kids. Would definately stay again.

We had our wedding here. The guests were still arriving and the staff was taking the food into the backroom. When we confronted them about it they were eating it. My wife didn't even get to Eat dinner as she was still greeting our guests. It was an absolutely horrible experience. With no offer to fix or rectify the situation.

We love the watermark, it’s the perfect location! So nice to have the option of either the pool or the beach! Great to have a full kitchen, in case you don’t want to eat out or just to keep food/drinks cold.Unfortunately we dislike the price tag to stay here, at $500+ a night for a 1 bedroom, it definitely is very costly when you come here with your family. The rooms are dated and could use some renovation upgrades and the couches are very uncomfortable to sit on. I would expect to have exceptional service for the price tag. The bistro restaurant is just okay and not amazing food, it’s quite pricey as well and very small portions.I have stayed here twice, once we rented a townhouse with friends and another time with my husband and baby. Would love to come back here again one day but for the cost we are better off staying down the road where we can get a 2 bedroom condo for much less and stay for 6 days for the price of 3 days at the watermark.

Nicest resort in town! My family of 4 (including 2 young kids) stayed in a super clean 2 bedroom suite. We had amazing views of the beach/lake and had everything our family needed.The service was great in all aspects. Our kiddos had lots of fun at the pool, too. On top of it all, the location is central…we can walk everywhere and had lots of bike trails around.We had a great 4 day stay and will definitely be back again!

Four of us stayed at this hotel last week and were extremely disappointed in the facility. Although the hotel boasts of beautiful lakeside views and a large pool area, neither of these were available to us. The pool was shut down/empty and the extremely noisy power washing of the entire building kept us from being able to use either the room deck or the pool deck. We had to leave the hotel from 9-5:30 each day to get away from the noise, the over-spray and heavy machinery. The Manager, Dave, showed little concern for this disruption and clearly begrudged having to deal with our complaint. Had the hotel notified us in advance of these disruptions, we would have booked at another time. We feel that Manager Dave’s attitude on both days that we spoke with him reflected poorly on this hotel.
