Disability Credit Canada

Good communication and very helpful. I’m a former RCMP member with PTSD. I’m still able to work full time (albeit with some restrictions) so I didn’t think I would qualify for the DTC but I thought I would try anyway.I had previously applied on my own but didn’t know what hoops to jump through to satisfy CRA requirements, so I got denied. Saw this company and tried again and was approved. Because I’ve had the condition longer than 10 years, my DTC was retroactive and I got the credit for the past 10 years (max look back period for CRA).Got about $21,000 back and it didn’t take much at all from me. DCC takes care of all the paperwork and filing. They don’t charge anything until I got my money from CRA and they only take 25%. That’s still about $16,000 that I’m left with that I would have never got on my own so it’s a win win. Plus I get to claim the DTC going forward and DCC doesn’t take anything from future credits.I’ve already referred a former military veteran to them and won’t hesitate to do so again. PTSD on its own can be an absolutely debilitating condition (whether caused by military/police service or not). I would encourage anyone with PTSD to go through DCC to see if they qualify for the DTC. Literally nothing to lose if you don’t qualify and lots to be gained if you do.

The folks at Disability Credit Canada were extremely helpful. As this was my very first time, dealing with this credit, I was taken step by step & guided me methodically through the process. neither was any of my questions regarded foolish or not in context. They welcomed my ignorance on the subject & without making me feel inferior. Their approach was exceptionally kind and polite. I can definitely recommend them as genuine.

We could have never done it without Josh and Disability Credit Canada! The government had been stonewalling us for over a year and the situation seemed hopeless. After calling Disability Credit Canada I was assured that my case was valid and government owed my my CPP disability. I still had little hope, however Josh pulled out all the stops and handled all the stressful details and paperwork. I want to thank the whole team at Disability credit Canada for the great job they did on my behalf, contacting the personnel involved and ensuring all forms were completed and forwarded in a timely manner. Because of their knowledge and expertise in this field my application took less then two months with a positive outcome. There was never any worries where my file was during this time as I was updated at each step of the process until it was completed. And yes I would highly recommend them. If you are unsure just give them a call.

Do not recommend, especially if you have disabilities and are trying to deal with them on your own due to not having support. I contacted them and had my original interview which was a long list of questions that did not allow for overlap in disabilities. Then you will be presented with legal forms and immediately the pressure to sign them begins. I reminded them I had disabilities and needed just one contact person, not several and that I needed a little more time then an able bodied person. You will end up doing more 'paperwork' and meetings with your physician than you think you will. (And paying for letters). Once I had everything sent off to them, I suddenly heard nothing for two months. Then I received requests for things I had already done. Found out my caseworker had left the business. They told me to wait. Government wrote saying they denied my disability going back previous years because they failed to receive the requested paperwork. I contacted DCC twice to ask what was going on, what their solution was and they never responded either time. I terminated services with them. I might as well have filled in the government forms myself. Was a waste of almost a year.

I am very thankful to the entire team of Disability Credit Canada for their time, dedication and effort in helping me on my application for my child, it went well and it will help me a lot and most specially for the future of my child! I encourage everyone who needs help in applying their disability to ask guidance from Disability Credit Canada and all your worries regarding your application will go away.Thank you again.

The whole process was easy.The Staff we dealt with were helpful, patient and knowledgeable.My Husband and I both received refunds and we will have this tax credit available in the future.The service is not free but we were able to justify the cost to ourselves because without this service we probably wouldn't have gotten around to submitting the application properly.They don't charge you a fee unless you get a refund, so you know they're going to do the best they can to succeed on your behalf.I recommend you contact them for your Complimentary Consultation. I was very skeptical of Disability Credit Canada but I decided to go through the steps. The individuals on the phone were very kind and asked a lot of questions and then sent some forms for me and my doctor to fill out. My doctor filled them out and gave them to me for $60 (I am in Alberta). Disability Credit Canada looked at them and suggested some changes and provided me the paperwork with the changes and sent them to my doctor. After another appointment and conversation with my doctor he looked at the suggested changes and only found he did not want to make one suggested change but agreed with the rest and signed off. Disability Credit Canada submitted this to the government and weeks later I received a refund for a very reasonable amount over 8k and Disability Credit Canada invoiced me for 25% of the total. This is a large commission but I think worth it as they save the headache of doing these forms improperly and maybe waiting years and having multiple doctor appointments to get it right. Or even worse submitting and just getting denied. I would definitely suggest this to anyone I know who has suffered from a disability. This also opens the door to open an RDSP account for investing which is also a really great program. Thank you Disability Credit Canada.
