Armitage Animal Clinic

After a disastrous 5 week ordeal at another vet who caused immense problems and pain to my cat, and to me, I came here for a second opinion. They spent a full hour with me easing my worries, and we opted for a more natural approach to heal her. This was a Friday, and as they were closed weekends, I got a call Monday, AND Tuesday, checking in on her. Unheard of service.When I went back for our checkup, the vets did everything they could to convince me I was doing my best (as I was incredibly distressed) and telling me to keep at it.After three painfully long weeks (totalling 8 in the cone) my cats toe is finally healed, and everyone in the office was so helpful and kind, and never made me feel rushed or unheard.This is the place to go, it’s worth the cost.

Staff is not the best, vet really had no idea what she was doing. Didn’t give me any care plan or any solutions for a hematoma which I’ve dealt with in the past, all she wanted to do was give my dog steroids which is not the only alternative, just over all lazy in my opinion. The one vet is decent, Leslie. But I haven’t seen her since my other dog’s diagnosis with diabetes. The Vet didn’t even introduce herself so I have no idea who I was dealing with until I asked for a receipt, Dr. Knoll. I wouldn’t trust her with an ant farm. Went to another vet right after and had the problem rectified without steroids. Waste of money and time.To conclude to the reply beneath from the owner- I stand by my review. Your new “vet” didn’t introduce herself, my dog isn’t “sunshine”, and that “treatment plan” wasn’t a plan- it was a bandaid solution that would have caused more problems if I had gone through with it.Maybe if it had been you- the vet that I had originally scheduled my appointment with, this review would have turned out differently- however, it wasn’t you- and my review regardless of how public- is still valid.

Ive brought my dog benji here many times. He’s not the biggest fan of the vets but all the staff are absolutely fantastic! He does get very nervous and anxious but everyone is so patient and understanding. I know he can be difficult to work with and i want to thank you all again for all your amazing work, It’s greatly appreciated.❤️❤️ I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Our dog has been in the care of Armitage Animal Clinic for the last few years since we moved to Newmarket. Everyone here is really nice and Dr. Williams and her team have been wonderful looking after my precious baby whenever we bring him in. I really appreciate that they call and follow up on my dog’s progress to ensure all is well with him. I agree with the other posts that this clinic has excellent communication with their patients. Their front desk team is very organized and friendly and they always get back to me right away on email or phone whenever I try to reach them. Most importantly, Dr. Williams and team provide top level, high quality care and I’m so happy to have found them. Thank you Armitage team for all that you do to keep our pets safe and healthy!

Great clinic, real pros. Dr. Williams has assembled a great, hard-working team. I love their bedside manor. If you have a concern, they address it. Dr's no BS approach is refreshing and, in my experience, doesn't oversell or use scare tactics.Just make sure you have the money for services rendered because there is no honor system in place, which is still fair. 5 *s

The best Vet clinic in town! I highly recommend them. I am Beyond thankful for having Dr. Leslie Williams, she is very knowledgeable and updated on recent recommendations and passionate about her work. She is very honest and has integrity in her work and doesn’t recommend unnecessary services like other Vets. I have been a client for more than 5 years, my dog is my world and she has been healthy and happy and I always felt welcomed and left satisfied with their work, billing, professionalism and friendly staff. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

I called the Armitage Animal Clinic when I was desperately searching for a vet that could take me in last minute, as my senior cat was in crisis. I had called everywhere to try and find a clinic that could do an emergency tooth pull and I was so lucky that this crisis led me to this this amazing group of people.I was scared for my senior kitty and already almost $1600 deep in vet bills from an emergency clinic when I called to see if they could help. They squeezed me in right away, and took my concerns and fears seriously. We quickly put an action plan together and my cat has been on a better path since.It's also worth mentioning that you will not find a better clinic for it's high level of communication! This cannot be understated in a time when communication is everything, and it was a lack of communication that brought me to them to begin with. My previous vet took days to get back to me about an appt and by then I had already seen the Armitage team and put together a game plan. The communication alone is worth making this your clinic of choice, never mind the amazing and truly caring staff - from the front desk to the veterinarians.There are plenty of vets in my area, but I have chosen to make Armitage my clinic despite a 30-40 min drive to get there because I have never felt more confident and at ease with a veterinarian in my life. The approach is gentle, but confident and I have never trusted a vet more.I would write more, but it will only be more gushing about the amazing experience I have had with the most outstanding staff and vet I have worked with.take your pet here with confidence!My kitty Maggie approves!

My family and I are extremely impressed with the service and care that is always provided at this clinic. The staff are all very kind, caring and knowledgeable - always going above and beyond. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about you and your pets. If you love your pets this is definitely where you want to go. We live over an hour away, but it’s worth the drive. The only regret we have is that we didn’t find this clinic sooner. They also have a points reward program which can help you save money. Thank you Armitage family for all your love and care!

Had a lovely experience visiting with my cat this morning! The assistant and veterinarians there are so kind and helpful! What I truly appreciated was how they’re not pushy or had no hidden fees. I felt safe bringing my Persian cat here and will definitely be keeping them as my regular vet clinic moving forward!
