West Coast Shapes Surf Rentals and Ukee Poke

Went for a poke bowl so I can't speak of the shop portion of the business. The bowls are decent but not exceptional, though they are carefully prepared and the ingredients seem fresh. I am giving four stars because, everything considered, I think they are a little overpriced. The coffee however was a highlight, very fruity and better than most ready-made drip brews I have found.

Amazing pokes, Staff are the nicest & the spot is unbelievable. On a sunny day on their patio with their great playlist you’d feel like you’re in a totally different place !The concept is also awesome! Surf/arts shop.Love in 100% & would definitely recommend & come back !!

Best poke bowls! Have been stopping at this place on the way to Tofino for the past 3 years. Always hits the spot after the long drive from the ferry.

We biked the new ʔapsčiik t̓ašii trail between Tofino and Uculet and stopped here for a bite to eat. I liked how you could pick your bowl and what you wanted in it so every bowl was made fresh and unique to your liking. Everyone really enjoyed it and were full.2 of the bowls tasted a bit too salted however they were still okay to eat and very tasty.There was a line up but the food came up very quick and the staff were very friendly.There is a campground here that looked very quaint with some nice treed sites. The RV spots appeared to be in the parking lot but the tenting were around the back.The facilities were very clean and there was a nice area for kids to play in or for people to just hang out.

You going to tofino/ukee? Stop, eat here and then go do what you want later. In a span of 2 days, I had 3 poke bowls. Disgusting fact but after my second poke bowl I went whale watching and my poke bowl almost became pukee bowl but I thought to myself If I die in this ocean, im happy knowing that I got to eat this delicious albacore tuna poke bowl. 100% recommendPlus, look at lynden's face. He was awesome. Made me feel welcome and felt like I was at his home. Loved it. Plus, there are cats.

Lovely place for poke!We stopped by after passing this place a few times while driving into Ukee. Poke is one of the dishes I wanted to have while visiting Van island and I’m so glad we made a stop at Ukee Poke.Firstly, the staff are wonderful. Super friendly, greeted with smiles and we felt very welcome. We ordered one small poke bowl with an iced vanilla latte. The latte was perfect and they were so nice when I asked for a little more syrup. The poke bowl didn’t take long to make and it was beautifully presented. The small is huge for what you expect. The fish is nicely seasoned and the toppings/sauces blend well with everything. It tasted so fresh and high quality. The atmosphere of the store is awesome. Nice little surf shop with lots of outdoor seating. The cats are such a cute touch. I love when establishments have animals roaming around happily and comfortably.I highly recommend stopping by!

I don’t have any photos because I ate it already but DELICIOUS. We went in to get smoothies the other day, the berry one is on the sour side which I love and very refreshing. The yellow one (can’t remember what it was called) was more sweet with ginger and also delicious. The person working the counter was so kind to give us food samples and they were so good we HAD to go back. Got 2 poke bowls today and they’re incredible. The ingredients are super fresh and they offer a great variety. Would highly recommend stopping here!

Loved the poke bowls - great to be able to pick your own ingredients - who knew fresh and healthy could taste so good!! And ready in no time. Enjoyed engaging with the staff too. The breakfast wrap was very delicious - enough to share! The surf shop shop was very eclectically interesting - fun to poke" around while waiting for your poke bowl. Thanks for creating this additional very reasonably priced option for this great area!"

The most gorgeous and delicious poke bowls! The seafood is fresh, we biked 18 miles to this place not knowing if I’d be able to make it back to my car but wanted this to be lunch. The employees are so kind. The shop is cute too, though I didn’t rent anything. If you’re in the area you must eat here, hands down.
