I would like to thank all the nurses in Emerg who were assisting me on Sunday when I was brought in. Also the nurses and Dr. McMillan who attended to me for the following days when I was admitted into room 202.Your warmth and exceptional care was amazing. Also to Tara a huge thank you for taking such good care of me while being transported to Sudbury hospital. Your care and thoughtfulness went above and beyond and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️Thank you ladies even being in the hospital you made my stay comforting. ❤️Thank youMaureen Bell.

Had no choice but to go here after a car accident nearby on hwy 17. Doctors are not thourough at all and didn't even recommend xrays even after a head on collision. Had to wait almost 6 hours before being released even though we arrived by ambulance! What a joke of a hospital

Went for an ultrasound and have never felt more like a disgusting human being. I was dressed nicely etc but was talked to like I was gross and disgusting. I won't put it on here what she said but I left there hurt and in tears. Terrible place. That and a couple of years ago when my dad was in there at the end of his life, no nurses nothing came in to help him to see how he was doing. Essentially left him to fend for himself because they knew it was a matter of a few days before he passed. I urged my mom to get a lawyer over his treatment. Hate our hospital and the way they treat patients.

I have had three primary experiences with the Espanola Hospital. The first one, fifteen years ago, was terrible. The second one, three years ago, was fair. The third one, a month and a half ago, was good.We were the only ones in emerg and were processed quickly. My only complaint was that I was alone with my five young children as my wife was in being treated. There is nothing in the waiting room to occupy children and there was no ATM to get cash to access the vending machine. My kids were bored and hungry and, soon enough, began to act up. I hated to leave my wife there alone but had no choice but to leave to get the kids some food and occupy their minds. Children's books, colouring, toys, access to the TV remote, and an ATM or debit-based vending machines would go a long way to help families like ours.

Really should just be a treatment center and has no business claiming it has an emergency department and the broken links for accountability and broken links for patient satisfaction surveys Really speaks on how they do not even care about experience or improvment.Nearing 2 hours in the emergency department still awaiting to see a doctor for the first time about a serious condition that can go bad very fast, I have overheard more about the staffs off work plans then a single investigation has been done for my child, I am the only person that has come into the e.r since I have arrived, it is so quiet I feel like I was forgotten in a closed office building its disgusting, If I knew this I would have driven to sudbury!

My husband Ron was visiting our son in Webbwood and he had an emergency which required hospitalization. He was inthe Espanola hospital about 5 days. He was so impressed with the compassion and excellent quality of care he received. And we as family members were very grateful as well. That is what health care is all about. People are vulnurable when they are ill and the way they are treated means so much. My husband never forgot the treatment he received. (unfortunately he passed away last year) 5 stars to you! Keep up the good work! God Bless the doctors and nurses and the work they do daily to save lives.

Horrible care with insane wait times. Doctor ignored my case for three days but insisted i show up there every 8 hours three times a day with no tests or results from my foot infection. Honestly if you have any sort of choice your best chance of survival is going somewhere else. Staff does nothing but judge patience upon appearance and there lack of communication with patients is sickening. If I could take stars away that any person has given them I would.

My father suffered a serious leg injury which required transport to Sudbury for surgery. He could not wait to get back to the Espanola hospital for his recovery. The staff are all absolutely amazing. Excellent care, excellent communication and my dad stated even the food is good". It has to be one of the cleanest facilities I've ever been in. Very diligent & hard working staff."

One doctor and one nurse should take care of all emergency patients and non emergency patients. What a jokeTerrible wait times for nothing.
