Mount Pearl Dog Park

My Staffy loved her first trip to the dog park yesterday! Beautiful trail to walk and the enclosed park area is very big which allows many dogs to occupy the space without being crowded! The park also has lots of poop bags in case you forget yours and a water fountain for humans and pups.It’s great to have a safe and fun place in the area where my puppy can play and explore worry-free!

I love this dog park. It's not just flat ground and dirt. It has trees, grass and different level ground for the dogs to play. They even has a dog water station set up for the dogs. They have benches for people to sit inside as well which I don't see at many other dog parks. I love taking my dog here. They have one side for small dogs and one side for big dogs as well. It's a great dog park.

The variety of terrain offers something different for the dogs there. Not just grassy field or rocky areas, the trees offer shade and the doggy fountain is a great plus. The surrounding trails are fun for the pooches too.

Beautiful pond!! Beautiful walking trails around said pond and enough d and scenery! Summertime they even have free kayaking with guides watching ad you kayak around the pond . The pond is small but big enough to kayaK for beginners!! Dog park is big enough for the pooch to run and play!!

Awesome dog park with gravel areas, dirt areas, forest areas, and a small dog section. Biggest downfall is the huge gap at the bottom of both gates at the entrance. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

In terms of space and popularity, one of the better dog parks in the greater St. John's metro area. Has two enclosures with plenty of room. There is also a water fountain nearby should dogs get thirsty and plenty of short trails nearby should your dog rather go for a walk than play.The large dog enclosure is on a slight hill with a forested area in the center. This naturally divides the park into a number of play areas. However, the trees do require that owners move around in order to keep an eye on their dogs properly. (Some owners are better than others.) This also means there are a lot of sticks for dogs to chew or obsess over, so this may pose risks for certain owners. Cleanliness also varies but can be pretty poor over the winter.

Nice dog park!! Next to the powers pond trails, and lots of parking in donovans. They have a small and big dog enclosure, and it seems pretty clean as well!! Great place to take a dog to play and a walk all in one stop!! Highly recommended as there isn't much choice in and around St John's!!

Peaceful, quiet, easy trails for younger kids, lots of birds and flowers to see, two playgrounds nearby.
