We are very pleased with our Kozy Heat fireplace, model CHASKA 29-LOG, direct vent gas fireplace insert. The thermostat works great, and we can have the fireplace on all day. It goes off and on to keep at the desired temp. The logs and embers are extremely realistic looking. The sales staff were very knowledgeable and patient with our questions. The guys that did the installation did a great job and were very clean. We recommend Wheatland fireplaces to our friends and family and to anyone reading this.

We went to Wheatland fireplace because our older fireplace was not working well, we thought it needed to be replaced. We were prepared to pay $5,000+ for a new one. He told us we had a very good fireplace, as good as the new ones they make now. With their helpful advice and a few parts, ours is looking good and working perfectly - for $250.00. I had a good/great experience. Gas fireplaces can be a bit pricey, but it is definitely the best feature of my condo. Self-adjusting thermostat, glowing embers, just the right amount of heat. My other heat is electric, so this is very affordable by comparison.

Replaced a 1987 era wood burning fireplace with a modern gas fireplace. These guys showed up on time, laid down covering to protect our floors, removed old wood-burner, capped/sealed old chimney (including on roof), ran new gas line, installed new fireplace, all within half a day. Great work and a professional job done by everyone including the 2 guys that showed up to complete the task.
