Sobeys St. John's Merrymeeting Road

We recently ordered the large wrap tray for a small gathering and they were absolutely delicious. It was a great option for a very fair price and it was done super quickly as it was a last minute order. We did ask for some vegetarian options which were not included, otherwise the order was great and was the perfect amount of food.

Get your Hours Straight on your Web Pages will You!! On the Top of the Page it sais closed at 8pm. Then At the Bottom, and elsewhere, it sais closed at 10pm.. Which is it??

I don't know why they keep updating the hours. This location is open 7AM to 10PM every day of the week.I have confirmed this with the district manager, and have submitted the hours change to Google 3x and the business" keeps changing it back to 8am-8pm. They are 100% open from 7AM to 10PM Monday to Sunday."

I always love Sobeys. A bit expensive than Walmart but they do have varieties in their store which makes it stand out.

Huge collection. Price is competitive. Overall a good neighborhood grocery.

Wonderful place for shopping. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Ample parking space and wheel chair accessible.Great shopping experience.

closing at 8pm because? another location is back to 24 hours? this is a downtown location where many people do not drive.The 3 grocery empires need to go decades ago

In my experience, this is the worst Sobey's I've ever used. The selection of food & produce is vast and it is close to downtown. The staff are generally helpful and it is a very cleanly kept supermarket .... But the deli is HORRIBLE.Out of the 4 times we visited, we've experienced;1) Store made chocolate cake that was too sweet and tasted like nothing but sugar (could not taste any chocolate).2) An extremely bland rotisserie chicken (shortly after eating a few pieces, we noticed that a fly flew out from the inside)3) Extremely dry & hard fried chicken bits.4) Arancini extremely dry & hard & crumbly with little to nothing on the inside.I'm not Italian but I know it's not supposed to be like that.The attendant also allowed us to know then when buying Arancini or any other small pastries, each different flavour must be placed in its own box. So 3 different boxes with 2 Arancini in each box, instead of ONE assorted box of 6. Fir reference, they are all the same price. This is quite silly.Don't expect much from this location.

Clean, fairly friendly staff, always has fresh stock and good selection of sale items or reduced items. It has curb side pick up, wifi and knowledgeable staff.I'm happy.They also did their best when rowdy kids from near by school were harassing customers, stealing and creating parking lot drama.I was very happy by their efforts to maintain a safe and equitable work environment and public space. They went above and beyond to protect the seniors who had been faced with harassment and apparently neighbouring school officials were working with the store and the police to.... Help manage the situation".The staff at this Sobeys went above and beyond during the pandemic and for the upsurge of disturbance the youths were attempting.The staff have clean work spaces

Tidy store with a great layout and fantastic selection of products. I found some specialty food that I couldn't find elsewhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice place to get your groceries!
