The Cosmopolitan music society is truly one of the most exceptional places I've ever been too!It offers so much education, performance opportunities, support from the staff, instructors that care so much for the music, and the potential that everyone has, being apart of the music community. You get the opportunity to not only play two concerts at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Center, but also, two concerts at the Winspear Center!I wanna give a big shoutout to All the amazing staff/instructors that are there. Enjoyed playing there unfortunately parking isn't always good

Incredible conductors/teachers. Events are not promoted very well. Some bands are overpopulated/not tiered very well based on talent. Great sense of comradory. Great people.

For a member, CMS offers a unique musical experience to those that wish to rehearse and perform ensemble (playing with a group) band music. It currently features five Concert and Jazz bands that rehearse on four week nights. We do this for ten months of the year, with several performances throughout. Every year we perform twice in the Winspear Centre. We also have a 90 person Chorus that now is preparing for a concert at New York's Carnegie Hall. For any adult wishing to have a rewarding and entertaining musical experience, this is the place to be. We have some programs for beginners, though most members have had much previous musical experience, although sometimes very long ago. Join us!

I love being part of the Wednesday band! The conductors and director are all very skilled musicians and conductors. We learn lots and have a lot of fun!

Great adult community based music programs for all many levels of musical skills. There are choirs, three Concert Bands, two Jazz Bands, and two Handbell Ensembles.All groups are led by excellently skilled conductors.Musical groups are composed of a broad range of age groups in each ensemble provide for a warm and friendly atmosphere. Multiple concerts throughout the season provides for a good opportunity to share our music with the greater community.If you're new to music, been away from music for a few years or have been playing or singing continuously there is a group for you.I've enjoyed the friendships and opportunity to get back into music after years away and would highly recommend the Cosmopolitan Music Society to you.Cheers to all.

Excellent organization for those wanting to saciate their musical thirst here in Edmonton.

The concerts put on by Cosmo are always awesome. The vast array of musicians they work with are incredible. From the orchestra, to chorus, to guests they bring in, you're always in for something new and entertaining. They have beginner band programs you can join if you're just picking up an instrument for the first time, and expert bands with established musicians and teachers - and all the bands inbetween.
