I have 3 girls that have been going to GDC for many years and we couldn't be happier. Girls are thriving in more ways than one. Great teachers with an amazing ability to push the kids to the best of their abilities, while developing positive relationships with the entire team. The environment is very welcoming and all the families develop a special bond due to the tight knit community feel that GDC promotes and nurtures. Highly recommend for both the recreational programs and competitive teams. Highly skilled staff, super welcoming and supportive families, and most importantly the kids develop lifelong friendships with other dancers.

My adult dance class experience was really disappointing. Probably, I should not have expected too much.Anyway, I'll start with some good points, and there ARE quite a few: a friendly and helpful owner, a nice teacher, very inexpensive classes and a convenient location. However, I'd advise the team to change some things if I may.1. It's a good idea to start classes on time, not 5-15 minutes later. If you start later, maybe you could finish later too, not on exact time, as it always was. The scheduled class itself is too short, just 45 minutes, and I'd prefer to spend all 45 minutes dancing. Or at least the teacher could let dancers stay for a bit longer to stretch.2. It does not seem safe to start classes with stretching. Any kind of warm-up exercise to prepare your body for stretching and dancing would be great - basic jumping Jacks would work well. Besides, it'd be better if we could finish our class with a kind of 'closing' - stretching would be perfect.3. Also, I can understand that for some people attending dance classes can be a way of socializing. I expected some physical exercise, specifically dancing instead of talking and discussing everything except dances most of the time.4. You cannot try a class. There is just no option. You should pay for the whole course before the first class. To sum up, I think it is understandable why I may feel disappointed - the time we spent on dancing and exercising was extremely short, about 20-25 at most (supposed to be 45 minutes). That's why I took just half of the classes and decided to stop.

.My name is Emily Arbic -Cohen. you were my dance family long before strictly dance did. you are so kind ,supportive and protective of me since day i joined in 2002.. you shaped me into this confident dancer i am today. Kerry and her staff are still my friends and i will never forget them. I never should have moved because there is only one special pace in my heart and Georgetown dance company has that place.I benefited form them and I strongly hope that other dancers will join the studio .It's worth it. I am an ex-member. they will never give up on your sons or daughters. they helped me to believe that dreams come true. this is where dreams come true I love the studio so much
