FIRST ONSITE Property Restoration

Left us high and dry in the middle of a project. The roof of one of my buildings blew off and they were the first on the site, so I trusted them and cancelled another contractor who was able to be there that day. My building sat as it was for almost 3 days afterwards. I could not even get a phone call returned. Now they have told me they are not interested in the project and left me with a tarp for a roof. You would be better off contacting a contractor directly.

The staff (Melissa, Jim and Tracey especially) were professional, non judgemental, extremely knowledgeable (they gave very good suggestions and explained why they thought something would be best), they were always here when they said they would be and the work was fantastic. We were extremely pleased with the process and the final results. I will use them again in an instant. Thank you FirstOnSite Kingston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On November 1st a very large tree fell on our home, a limb cane through our roof into our living room wall and a portion of our eavestrough was crushed. I’m the beginning everyone we dealt with was great, however it’s now 3.5 months later and we still have a hole in our wall (and roof) and an eavestrough that leaks all over the walkway to our front door.The roof repair has to wait until the spring when the weather is warmer, we totally understand that, but the other repairs should be done by now. We’ve left messages with videos and pictures of the water and resultant ice, but no one will answer us. If by chance we do actually get to speak with someone we are given a list of excuses, told they’ll check with someone (who they are checking with varies) and we never hear from them. The ice that has formed due to the poor quality of workmanship (they didn’t seal the end of the eavestrough run) has very nearly resulted in several injuries.We are extremely disappointed with our experience thus far and would not use them again.

We had a flood right at the height of the pandemic. FOS worked with us and our insurer to get the work done. They were flexible; able to adapt to our needs; responsive to our concerns; and willing to work with us on changes we wanted made. Melissa, Tracey and Reg (our primary contacts) were fantastic to work with as was the entire work crew. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending First On Site.

Referred by our insurance company following water damage to our property. The First Lady we dealt with, Donna, was great. Then we got passed on to another person and it went down from there. No follow ups done with us close to no communication. We had to deal with the contractors ourselves as they weren’t given the proper information and details of the situation.They produced a report of the work needed in our house. They were paid for work that was never completed and we are now still waiting for them to resubmit a proper report we asked for 6 weeks ago.We trusted that this was a reputable company, we were wrong.We are VERY disappointed with the service we received under this second person we were assigned.

The quality of the work was outstanding. The finished job looks amazing and the workers took excellent care to contain the dust and mess associated with the work. Moreover, they were really kind and thoughtful to the elderly, handicapped house owner. Simply fantastic service from First On Site!„
