Yellow Submarine Family Child Care

My 2.5 yr old daughter has been going to Yellow Submarine with Jojo for only a few months and it has been such a delight for me and my husband and our little one. She takes great care of the kids while exploring nature, art and all the learning activities we could hope for. She sends daily pictures and monthly calendars with activities and events laid out. She is so well organized! We couldn't be happier.

My grandson gets to experience simple yet amazing things at this daycare. Mud puddles, dirt pies, music, arts and crafts, but more importantly he has learned about friendship, respect and kindness. We love JoJo’s ability to allow creativity and exploration with the kids, this is a fantastic place for kids to grow and learn.

Johanna encouraged our child to use his imagination to the fullest, and use a new form of creativity daily, through art and play. Through an abundance of outdoor adventures we were sure to hear about all the facts he picked up about nature. Our child thoroughly enjoyed his two years at Little Submarine, it's a fantastic Daycare!

My 2 kids have been attending for almost 3 years. I've got nothing but positive things to say about the way the daycare is run. The kids have a great time, learn new things and get outside and have adventures everyday. Johanna even dealt with the frustration of potty training. I'd highly recommend Yellow Sub, my kids are happy there, and I can feel comfortable that my kids are in good hands while I'm at work.

My child has been with Johannah for over 3 years now and I wouldn't choose any other place. Here, the children are always outside, at the beach, walking the nearby trails, or just having fun in the back yard. The children are stimulated by Johannah’s creative ways and ability to provide constant loving care. Sometimes she even makes fresh baked bread or muffins for snack time. On cold winters days there is usually a pot of warm homemade chicken noodle soup on the stove for the children to help soothe those winter time ‘sniffles and colds’ - In fact, my son says I don't make chicken noodle soup as good as Johannah’s :) I highly recommend this daycare to any family living in the area.

I checked out a lot of daycares before I met JoHanna. Upon arrival I instantly felt comfortable with her. She provides a safe, nurturing program. Both of my kids would came home with fun stories and adventures from playing at the beach, nature walks, new songs and crafts. I loved the focus of importance of outside play. I always felt 100% confident in leaving my children under her care. Would recommend her to anyone!

My daughter has been going to this daycare for more than a year now. I feel safe thinking about her being there. One big relief is that it’s a licensed one under island health. No matter it’s snowing or raining or sunny day, Johanna makes sure kids get some outdoor time as much as possible. This is the best part I like about this daycare- a lot of outdoor activity and lots of creative experience for kids. I also like the fact that they send daily pictures so you know what kind of day your child had. My daughter loves going to daycare and playing with friends. Johanna is very dedicated to her work. She thinks a lot about individual kids and their development. I am so happy about my child going there.

Excellent Day Care very Professional, clean and full of educational games, kids learn about friendship, lidership, nature, they also do lots of crafts and outdoor activities.JoHannah is wonderful and really cares about each child as if they were her own, she always listens and understands the children and is very helpful to accommodate parents child care needs.Johannah takes care of my 4 year old and Every time I need to pick up my daughter, she doesn't want to go home! Its a great place for children. Jojo is an excellent caregiver for my daughter and she really love this place. The daycare atmosphere is very child friendly and they have different scheduled activities for each day. I feel, my daughter is learning a lot from there with lots of fun. This place makes my daughter happy and that makes me very happy indeed.

JoHannah runs a top notch program. Her facility is well set up and her creativity to set up different activities for the kids is amazing. She's always doing new crafts and outside exploring nature with the kids. Her compassion and nurturing make her program truly one of a kind. My son loved his time with JoJo and id send him back anyday.
