After a knee injury in 1984, I had gone to 3 different orthpaedic surgeons. One surgeon did arthroscopic surgery twice. No improvement. The sport surgeon said he couldn't help me.In 1995, girlfriend's sister worked as an emergency room nurse at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, and she told me that Dr. Yoneda was the best. The running joke was Yoneda knee operation!"Well

I'd give a zero rating if I could! Avoid using this doctor! My husband was hospitalized for 2 weeks and faces 6 weeks of IV antibiotics due to a staph infection in his knee following a synvisc injection at Dr. Yoneda's office. This doctor has no regard for proper hygiene when treating patients. He did not wash or sanitize his hands between patients or wear gloves and the vials and needle tips were strewn across his desk with folders and papers. He was wearing a greasy, dirty ball cap that he touched often. My husband reported pain in his knee to him for 3 weeks and he never once examined the knee or suggested anything other than additional cortisone which we have now learned actually prevented the body from fighting the infection. This was the shoddiest care I've ever witnessed from any doctor and we will be reporting him.

Was seeing him for awhile way back when. Found him to be completely unhelpful not sharing any information or literally not saying anything educational or helpful on the matter of my being there. He seemed far more interested in telling 2 individual people the exact same story about a boat one after the other that were separated by a cloth divider. See someone who actually cares to help rather than stroking their ego.

Yesterday I had Dr Yoneda clean up my meniscus. The experience was extremely smooth and easy. In at 730, out by lunch. I'm already able to walk and never needed a painkiller. The pressure/aching is gone already! Thank you Dr Yoneda!
