Dundas Automotive Repair

Been a customer for over 10 years. As a regular, I've been squeezed in for emergency repairs on multiple occasions. Likewise I respect the ebb & flow of seasonal/weekly busy times so I try to book regular maintenance for slow times when Lou has more time to discuss issues or questions I have. His advice has always been good and he isn't offended if I choose not to follow it.

Lou runs an excellent shop. Is very honest about work needing to be done or if it can wait until next visit. Never had an issue with work done here.

In London from out of town on business, called ahead with my problem ( bad battery) was told to bring it down and they were able to get me in quickly. Everything was handled professionally and was out within an hour. Very reasonable pricing and very comfortable with my dealings with them.

Lou is fair, honest and very reasonable. I have been taking my vehicles to him for 15 years now and hesitate to go anywhere else. I appreciate his honesty and he always shows that he appreciates our business. A great mechanic is hard to find so when you do, keep them!

I would like to thank Lou and his teamI recently had my daily driver starter motor completely fail on me. So after a few calls and visit to a couple garages I decided to go to Dundas Automotive Repair. I wasn't able to get it towed in till Thursday night and asked if there was any chance it could be replaced by Friday. Lou said he'd do his best to accommodate me. Well he and his team came threw. Friday 'tonight' I was able to pick up my daily driver after work. Not only did they get it done super fast. They did it at the cheapest rate of the 3 garages I had looked into doing it.So all in all I'm super happy with the services and I will be recommending these guys at every chance I get and in my profession I meet lots of people. And with my aging old daily I'm sure I'll be back, hopefully not. But probably!! Lou doesn't want your business.I went there twice to try to get service and was treated to the 'Lou' experience both times. First time was for a basic oil change and tire rotation. I was turned away because he was too busy. Second time for AC service and I was given a lecture about how AC repairs are expensive . Well duh...If you enjoy being looked down upon by an uppity repair shop guy, this is your place.

Lou is a very nice guy! The family's been going there for years and I've never had an issue with the service or the people. He always gives you the best deal possible and makes sure your vehicle is in healthy condition. I definitely recommend them!

I got my starter replaced about 6 months ago and have since had several issues with my car starting, I called Dundas Auto when I was in a tight spot and even though they were slammed they got my car repaired within a few hours of me calling, diagnosing what 2 other shops within 5KM of this shop *mis diagnosed* (wont mention shop names) - I wont be going anywhere else for service from this point on
