Restaurant L'Ardoise
Despite no reservations they still accommodated us and the service was ~excellent~. They even offered to relocate our table when a large reserved party showed up. The food was lightening quick and hot. We shared a picnic platter for 2, which was like an appetizer tasting menu. No disappointments there. Had drinks that were on and off their menu plus the staff was just amazing the whole time, people passed by for water/orders/making sure you were happy every so often, more than you'd expect. Finally, dessert was the canolli with an apple compote base napped in caramel and it was BOMB. Plus, open kitchen concept which I want to go back for since they seat people at a bar staring right at the action.Considering the 5 chain restaurants we went to before walking into this one, it has by FAR exceeded my expectations for service, quality and taste of food and ambiance.

Came here for a 40th birthday; we were about 24 people.I really liked the ambiance, decor and the music. The food was creative and good, the service however, was extremely slow. Considering how most of the items on the menu were tapas, you'd think it wouldn't have taken that long. Our waitress was friendly, but maybe they were experiencing difficulties in the kitchen..My overall experience was good, but don't think I'll be returning.

Great place with great food! They had a band playing the jight we were there. I got the seafood platter 45$. The seafood was fresh and enough for one person. I got a creme bruler trio but not a fan at all it was mor of a pudding with caramelised sugar on top not a creme. their wine selection is really good as well. My friends got the salmon tartar wich was also great. I would say that it is a little more expensive than average but worth it especially in the summer time.

Beef short rib cooked excellently, melts in your mouth without fake topping/sugars added. Excellent service and valet. Old Fashioned could be better but food was excellent, as well as music - always an important yet often missing key ingredient to a good night out.

Nice place with good ambience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of food options including gluten-free tartare. Stiff long island ice teas as well. Check it out if you're in the area!

Over super experience! Great food! Good service and cool staff. The quality of the food was great. It’s a trendy place which make it busy so it’s not a quiet place at all which was expected. Reservation isn’t needed but it is very recommended. Only thing and why I gave it 4* is that it’s a little on the pricy side of things. For this quality/staff/service VS the prices that they charge especially for drinks I would expect just a notch higher to justify the price but this is all subjective. Non the less it is defiantly a place to try.

Foodtruck came at my job, it was incredibly tasty, considering we had 3meals and nothing to pay as an employee for hamel bmw, it was an amazing meal ! burger is awesome poutine and wings loved it all
