I have been using Lakeland Automotive for years, always impressed with the service! Staff is friendly and helpful, I have yet to have an issue with my car that they couldn’t resolve! Would absolutely recommend this business to anyone looking for a reliable automotive shop.

On June 22,2022 I took two vehicles to Lakeland. One was my Mazda Miata which had a perceived ignition problem. I was assured by the own, Tom, that they could fix it. They ran a diagnostic check, but couldn't find an issue. It was decided that they would replace the spark plugs and leads (which were only a month old, because his were much better). I questioned Tom as to the brand name and type of spark plugs and the brand and type of spark plug lead. ( both were very overpriced) Tom refused to tell me the type and would only volunteer that they were NGK. He refused to tell me where they were acquired only telling me that it was from his" supplier.I still have the same problem as before and all this cost me $363.06. At the same time I brought in my Chrysler Sebring to have the Air Conditioning serviced. It was apparently leak checked and recharged and worked for a day. That cost $183.70. The car was returned to the shop and now I'm told it has a leak and it will cost $1100.00 to fix. To tell me that I am charged an additional $166.28. So

Great work. Great price. Car was damaged in a hit and run and got the car back quickly with zero issues.

I would recommend Lakeland Automotive to my friends and family. The have fair prices, are very honest, and very good at communicating what is wrong with your vehicle. I will be bringing my vehicles here as long as I live in Campbell River.

The service was excellent. This CR family owned business is a great place to deal with as they are honest therefore you are getting what needs done and not just repairs to rack the bill up. We used this place on numerous occasions and always satisfied. Keep up the good work!!

Since my last review was removed for some reason I'll write another one.. Terrible business, do not recommend.. the owner is arrogant and rude to say the least. Took my vehicle in for two thousand dollar clutch replacement, left with loose engine mounts, a crimped air intake and and extra gallon of transmission fluid (That I was charged for) After a month of driving burning insane amounts of fuel, I took it to another mechanic who identified these problems. The owner at Lakeland refused to take responsibility for the poor job of putting my vehicle back together, cost me hundreds of dollars in fuel and he refused to compensate me for it. Will never ever go back there for even the smallest of jobs. STAY AWAY.

Staff was very helpful and easy to work with. Will definitely be bringing my Subaru back to this location.

Outstanding customer service. I will continue to get all my auto needs done with them. I have dealt with them for years and have always felt they were fair and honest with the work I needed done.
