Barrie Wilson Elementary School

I am going into grade 6 but this was the best years of my life from grade 2 to grade 5 they do let kids in for kindergarten and grade one but I wasn’t there for that. The teachers are all so nice and all the teachers that have helped me along my school journey, thank you. The principle is bringing more life to the school than I have ever seen. At Barrie Wilson we are taught to love each other and not judge each other. Barrie Wilson has the 5 core values (it used to be 3) the 5 values are, responsible, resilient, respectful, healthy, and collaborative. Those values will be with me for the rest of my life I hope. They have tried to make the transition from elementary school to middle school as smooth as possible. They had a grade 6 orientation for the grade 5s and now I feel much better. There are so many perks for being a grade 5 like all the clubs you can join for example, HART Team, Green Team, Patrols, Interviewing, Choir (for grades 3,4, and 5), and others that I can’t remember right now. The Phys ed teacher at Barrie Wilson (I don’t want to say their name because I don’t know if they are okay with me saying it) is the best gym teach I will ever meet. She has so many fun games like People Tracker 2.0 and many different tag games. She also teaches pickle ball (Sometimes), tennis, basketball, and many other sports. For some of the sports she holds clubs like the basketball club and at the end of that you get to go to a tournament. I got to do the tournament and it was so amazing! I got to play with other school and go out of my comfort zone. Thank for all the things that you have done for me my phys ed teacher. At the end of grade 5 they hold a ceremony where you get a certificate saying that you completed elementary school. I won’t spoil too much more but thank you to all my teachers! ❤️❤️
