Recently I went to the Gurudwara sahib Ji and I was in shock to see how it was treated like a rental marriage hall instead of a Sikh Gurudwara where everyone and anyone is always welcomed.The main hall was only for the wedding and others needed to go to the other side for Matha and Darshan. The langer hall was closed to the public and only for the wedding guests. It was getting decorated by the catering guests and the regular public was not allowed. That made me furious if you want to have a wedding at the gurudwara then count some extra people who would come there.It felt like society is making extra money by renting the Gurudwara as a wedding venue. Such a shame!!They shouldn't stop the regular public from Langer but maybe arrange a separate portion for them and server regular langer made by the gurudwara. You never know what situation the person is in who comes to have a langer and might not be able to afford to pay for the meal somewhere else.Gurudwara sahib never closes their doors for people and only serves " certain " people..this is not Sikhism.. Should be ashamed of yourself!!!Unfortunately

Khalsa Diwan Society is one of the oldest Sikh Temple in Vancouver B.C.Kirtan, Satsang and Ardaas are regular services available daily. Children loves krah prashad and Langar served throughout day.Satnam Shri Wahe Guru

A beautiful holy place, where everybody is welcomed and served langar. If you are feeling low you can always come here, listen to the paath and you will instantly feel better.

Peaceful and all is equal. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh. Seva is absolutely amazing. Renovations are amazing and gurdwara sahib is clean and makes you feel always welcome. One of my favourites.

People go to gurudwara sahib for peace of mind not to face ego of the people who are doing sewa over there. I went to this gurdwara sahib with my parents today and as it's a Sikhism tradition to have langer without wearing footwear and to sit at the floor this thing is so disturbing that the maryada we have in our religion is not being followed by the people of our own community itself. So, today I went to Langer hall without wearing my shoes and every single person who was doing sewa at the Langer hall forced me to wear my shoes even though I was denying to do so and when I totally denied those people were backbitching about me and saying that if you really want to follow the maryada you should not even sit at the benches like I really Don't want to but you guys haven't left any option for me and it's so bad to see that those people wereas elders as my parents are and I took my parents over there for the first time and they had a really bad impression of gurdwara sahib which is really not good

Very organized and clean Gurdwara. Great system in place for tea and snacks. Langar setvice could be improved.

This place is 0pen to all who wish to worship and meditate. You can listen to shabad kirtan and Katha vichar .
