Ecclestone Horse Transport

I tried to visit this stable to take my kids riding using a wagjag coupon, but the owners would not return our calls or emails. I ended up having to get a refund and did not go. They are very unprofessional and I would not recommend going here, especially with any sort of group deal, they seem to have taken the money and run.

I work for Stonegait and I absolutely love working for Kyle and Nat. They are the best bosses I have every had the pleasure of working for. The environment of the barn is phenomenal. Very relaxed and drama free. The horses are are also phenomenal to work around. They are very well trained and mannered. All the horses are very well taken care of and very happy. I can write a novel about how amazing this barn is and how amazing Nat and Kyle are!

This company is next level! They do an amazing job throughout the entire process of responding quickly and providing service at a very fair rate. I had a horse transported from Canada to Michigan and was well-informed the entire way. The horse was kept in excellent care and I would trust them with any future transports. Highly recommend!

Great service from Ecclestone. Kyle took the time to explain every detail of what's involved in bringing a horse across the border. So helpful. My horse arrived happy and healthy and even a bit earlier then expected which was a bonus!

Great service from start to finish. I have used EHT to ship horses within Canada and the US with peace of mind. This is a shipping company I always refer clients to use, knowing that they, and their horses will be treated like VIPs.

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience with this transport company. I hired them to take my horse from Florida to Alberta. I was aware my horse would have a couple layovers on the way but not prepared for her to have an EIGHT DAY layover period in Ontario. Making it worse was the lack of communication and not knowing when my horse would actually be back on her way. My horse was eventually pawned off on another shipping company and arrived with a huge gash on her head that needed emergency vet care. I was assured I would receive a refund to make up for this horrible service but have heard nothing since! Needless to say I won’t be using this company again!

Ecclestone Horse Transport “EHT” out of Ontario Canada was fantastic to work with. They dealt with the custom broker documents and were in direct communication with the local vet. Kyle, of EHT verified receipt of documents within an hour. Once paperwork was cleared on my end, the horse was on a trailer within 24 hours headed to New England. The trailer was clean, Water and hay nets hung, and Gail the driver communicated when the border crossing took place and with an estimated time and then almost exact time closer to drop off. They delivered directly to my barn. I couldn’t have been more happy. Highly Recommend

I originally posted a negative review of this shipper based on some communication issues we had with Kyle regarding the timing of shipping a horse to Canada. At the time, I was unclear of his expectations regarding scheduling a ship date related to timing of payment and health certificate delivery. As a result, we incurred additional veterinary fees. None of the expectations were unreasonable, they just weren't clear to me when we shipped our horse.Upon learning of my issue, Kyle reached out immediately and offered to make things right by reimbursing us for the additional vet fees. This is a small family-owned business which he started precisely because he had had bad customer service experiences with other shippers.Kyle asked for suggestions on how he could ensure that this type of miscommunication could be avoided in the future and has indicated that he will make changes to reflect my suggestions (mainly just to outline what he needs in order to guarantee a ship date on the intake form).The shipping itself wasn't an issue. The horse did arrive at the destination safely in a timely manner (directly from pickup). Sometimes miscommunications happen and I couldn't ask more than the follow-up customer service we received from Ecclestone.

Ecclestone came highly recommended to us. Kyle was professional and incredibly helpful during the entire process. We were kept updated on status and ETA by Kyle and by the drivers along the route, and the previous cargo was delivered as scheduled, safe, and happy! 5 stars and would use again!!
