The Head Shoppe - Fall River

I had a hair emergency and the staff were very accommodating. My stylist was Breea and I would highly recommend her - really happy with the results of my cut & colour. I had a conditioning treatment too which was worth every penny.

Excellent service. Reminder phone call is nice touch. Coffee is offered as you’re getting hair done. I just found out that there are different prices for different levels of hairdresser. Wise to ask the charge before hairstylist starts.

Madison is so personable and was able to accommodate to my schedule. She did a beautiful job on the colouring, and I am so happy with the final look and how it turned out. Thanks so much Madison!

I liked my first and second experience here. But I found someOf the staff immature especially the girls at the front desk , giggling and smirking, and just being immature .Could make certain people feel very uncomfortable, Why I went elsewhere to find more mature and welcoming staff.

I felt the hairdresser each time I went to the head shoppe was inexperienced and I ended up with a cut I hated both times. First time was just a trim as i was unsure of the young girl.With the latest cut I look like Dora the explorer ffs. Long hair takes a long time to grow back and I will look terrible until then. Staff was friendly I guess so I gave an extra star (changed my mind too many undeserved 5 star reviews). Head shoppe is not cheap and you are not getting quality so I wouldn't reccomend. I won't be back I'd rather drive into town hair is to important.

For a salon that claims to know about how life gets busy"

I have been going to Kayla for two years now and she is an amazing stylist as well as a ver skilled colourist! Everyone at the salon is always so welcoming and professional, love it!

My daughter had her hair done by Rebecca at the Fall River head shoppe last night. She gave her a picture and clear idea of what she wanted: a reverse ombré, dark on the top and ashy grey on the bottom. The stylist said she would be able to do that, but clearly didn’t know how. She dyed the top black and bleached the bottom half and toned it. The bottom half turned a yellowish red. At that point she said they could either leave it like that or dye the bottom. Why would she want to leave it that colour when that wasn’t what she asked for?? Instead of dying the bottom grey, she did an ashy brown. This resulted in barely any difference between the top and bottom, and on top of that she was completely overcharged. They charged separately for foils, toner, base colour and cut/shampoo. The stylist said she gave a 25% discount, but it was only off one service. She charged her $245.35 plus tax and didn’t even come near what she asked for. Also most of the work was done by an apprentice while the stylist went in between multiple clients. My daughter is only 16 and worked hard to save her money to get her hair done. She was in tears on the way home.

First haircut since my family and I moved here and I'm happy with my haircut, I explained to Kayla what I wanted and she came pretty close, I just forgot to ask her to textureize it. My mom recived a haircut from Kayla as well although she didn't expect it to come out so short but she doesn't mind so much as she was desperate for a haircut. Very friendly staff, will probably see you next month

I had a haircut with the stylist for the second time. I liked my first experience, but have to admit I am SO disappointed with my second experience. I asked to trim without shaving the back neck and wanted volume. She cut my hair when they were wet, blew them and asked me what I thought about it. I said I wanted more volume, so she cut ONLY at the top. She did not blend the cut or put the flat iron or anything. Well, it took the hairdresser less than 30 min. I was in and out of the salon in 45 minutes. I had to cut the back of my neck because it was not even, and I tried to fix the look with the straightener when I returned home.I will not go back. Maybe she has experience with colour and extension, but not so much with the cut. Nice person but did not do a professional job.....
