Excellent service, beautiful decor and easy parking, that’s about it.Food was terrible! Had some mango salad and Khao Soi, which were extremely salty. The few of us, had to pour some water in the soup and it was still salty.Chicken wings were dry. All the drinks were filled with ice and didn’t taste much alcohol in it.It was not a busy night. There was still a few table left.

Not my first time here and the food is fantastic! I've tried many items and have not been disappointed yet. Quick service from our waitresses, food service and drinks. Good music overall great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and portions are good size. Highly recommend if you're looking for a evening out with friends.

Food was amazing. Easily the best surf n turf I ate in Montreal. Best old fashion I drank in a minute too. There were different in spices nd presentation both... result is WOW. Drinks were bit expensive though not the cocktails but 8$ the shot of regular rhum. Loved the music nd the atmosphere and it was totaly worth it

We very much enjoyed our first visit at the Hawaiian Island Sunday brunch at @thefarsides.We were enamoured with the rich cultural blend and the elevated taste of our meal. Our food was delicious and as colorful as the detailed hip hop themed decor. The little details remeniscent of mid to late 90s pop culture entertained us greatly - especially the fun souvenirs lodged in the bar countertop (loved the flip phone, pager, game boy pocket and more!). The cocktails were also exquisite and to top it all off we were pleasantly surprised by the live dance show which we thought was a nice touch.

Cocktails are good and also the food. The atmosphere are very funky and trendy (lots of Japanese animation decor). But a little bit pricey for what we had. It's a good place for inspired Hawaiian cuisine.

Had an enjoyable morning at this restaurant. They had a cute little outdoor terrace in the back that received a pleasantly surprising amount of sunlight. Ordered some drinks with my group, the Smooth Operator smoothie, Litchi Mimosa, and Sourpuss peach mule, all 3 were excellent. The Ube pancakes I ate were also fantastic, first time trying ube and it was delicious.

My friends organised a birthday surprise at Farsides last weekThe place is well decorated and has good music. The only issue that i can notice is that Farsides is maybe lost between being a restaurant or a bar. That makes the experience less enjoyable as you can't enjoy a total restaurant or a total bar experience. In my opinion, the food is not that bad but if you compare the quality with the range price, you end up paying too much for the food...We had to take the full 3 course menu that cost more than 65cad plus tips plus tax. So for the food you end up paying approximately 100cad without even having a drink. The food is so normal that you can have the same dishes for half price in a good restaurant.A bad point that i noticed too is that they didn't serve us our dessert (3rd course) because they had to cut our birthday cake...I hope i will have the chance to visit The Farsides soon and maybe live better the experience...

Let me start by saying that the place once you come in it’s impressive and very beautiful but that’s about it ! Very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food honestly because I had higher expectations from a place that “well” rated .. first of all the staff service was horrible the girl (Erika) barely came to our table most of the time I had to call her over just for us to get service and it wasn’t that busy we arrived at 6pm on a Sunday ! Let’s not forget that they mentioned twice that we only had the table for 2hrs very rudely. Now for the food we waited 45min after we ordered..once we got it let’s begin with my friends steak was way undercooked, my braised beef rib was way too hard and the pad Thai that my other friend took was tasteless. Ohh and the fact how expensive the drinks and everything else is was shocking I never complain but this has to be by far my worst experience in a restaurant and believe me I’ve been to a hundreds of them even higher quality in Montreal.. anyways I do not recommend!

If you’re a lover of good food and a good atmosphere, you won’t find better. The restaurant is like stepping into a giant nostalgic hug. The bar is like a Time Capsule of my youth, and the walls are filled with tributes to the same era.The food is a yes. The menu is playful and bright while being absolutely serious in its execution. They clearly take pride in their ingredients and presentation. Each dish was fresh with expertly balanced flavours - honouring its origins. While enjoying our beautiful meal, we were served drinks a mixologist would love. The cocktails are just as fun and serious as the food. I’d just ask your server to bring you their favourite and you won’t be disappointed.Walking in to the basketball court with the best 90s music playing in the background - you will be greeted by kind service in the best atmosphere in old Montreal.Huge thank you to everyone at The Farsides. I can’t believe it took me this long to come, but I’ll definitely be back soon. Cheers!

Had a really amazing time at the Farsides a couple weekends ago!! Food service was quick and the staff had the best recommendations. DJ was also amazing!!Wasn’t a fan of the bathroom and how close together the tables were, but I would definitely recommend here!
