Aarm Dental Group in Yaletown

I had a great experience with Dr Lee and her team at Aarm in Yaletown. Couldn't be happier with the results from getting an implant crown done here. It was a complicated treatment, having to navigate an extraction and coordination with both periodontist and orthodontist, but Dr Lee was excellent and well up to the task. Thanks!

My wife tried making an appointment for the both of us for a cleaning. At that time she was told that I would need to make a consultation if I wanted to have my teeth cleaned - It seems mandatory for first time visitors like myself. As I haven't been to the dentist in a while it sounded convenient. The assistant told I needed X-rays as part of my first visit too, in order to enable more accurate assessment. Again, sounded convenient, reasonably priced and then I went for it. I was taken in (ahead of time!) by Dr. Iris, she was very nice, done a standard consultation, explained me all that she saw and did not push for any further treatment whatsoever. Once the consultation was finished I was told that my cleaning was not booked and that they would not have an opening to take me in. My only intent to go there in the first place was to have my teeth cleaned. To make arrangements to leave my work in the middle of the day, spend over an hour there and not be serviced in the only thing I wanted was disappointing. To summarize; 3 stars for the good dentist professional but definitely not a good experience overall. Unlikely to come back.

I have been going here for a number of years and strongly recommend Dr Lee and her team. Everyone has always been extremely friendly and skilled. My hygienist is not only great at her job but a pleasure to see each time. If you're looking for a new dentist I highly recommend you pick Dr Lee and her staff.

The hygienists and Dr Lai are excellent however the receptionists are unacceptably bad. They never answer the phone and put people on hold forever and then are rude when they do. Also, the clinic is not modern or spacious like others which can be found.

Be aware, since their main dentist retired this clinic is a mess. Problems with appointments, insurance and even the simplest stuff like getting your cleaning done will turn into a painful experience and you will definitely need a shower and change of cloth after. First time to get my hair and neck wet in a cleaning!!!. I also hope not minding using your face as hand rest and being upside down with mouth open and no breaks for over an hour. I was disoriented and my jaws were num!!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Lee in Yaletown for years, she and her team are the best! Everyone is very friendly, kind and professional. I’ve had a lot of work done on my teeth, including Invisalign, Dr. Lee, Ellie and the entire team have been wonderful through it all. I use to not smile much and hide my mouth with my hand when I laughed, but now thanks to Dr. Lee I LOVE my teeth and am always smiling! I had my first filling done by Dr. Lee and she was wonderful, talking me through every step, completely easing my anxiety. She really cares about you having the best experience possible and keeping your teeth healthy. She makes you feel at ease, and she’s super sweet and funny too. I highly recommend going here for all your dental needs!

Someone asked me recently who the best dentist I’ve ever been to was, and I immediately said Dr. Michaan. I last went to her ten years ago when I lived in Vancouver. Among other things, she did some cosmetic work on my front teeth that is still amazing today and dentists in the USA and Japan have consistently complimented me on.She is a lovely person and I really miss being her patient. I wish her the best.

Dr. Lee at this Aarm Dental Group always exceeds my expectations. I just had two fillings redone and a cavity done in between both of those teeth. From her bedside manner to her expert knowledge of dentistry and gentle touch, she does excellent work. Hours after my appointment, I feel zero pain with no pain killers. Her work is always laser precise and she really cares about her patients.

Best dental experience with Dr. Lawrence Lai and his assistant Maggie. They are very professional, efficient, and calming. They made the whole experience comfortable and painless for me.
