I have never felt compelled to go online to write a review for a company until now - I even went through the trouble of creating a new email account (for privacy concerns). I currently live outside of Canada but left a tax issue pending that was increasingly worrying me to a point that it was the last thing I thought about before going to bed! A family member recommended I call Barrett Tax Law for a consultation and I'm so happy I did. I spoke with Dale Barrett who assured me that although my tax problem was serious, it was fixable. I can't even describe the relief I felt when less than two months later I was told that my house and business were safe. If you're stressing out about a tax problem like I was, you need to give Barrett Tax Law a call (I was not charged for the initial consultation and thought their fees were reasonable). I had some tax issues and contacted Barrett law, explained my situation, made an appointment to come in and discuss… they’re friendly at first and made promises to help… then ask for a deposit. I paid 1000 deposit, he quickly reviewed my case told me what I already knew, and then referred me to someone else that wanted more money! He promised he would take care of me from start to finish…Now I’m in the weeds again!So frustrating!!When you visit the office, you could see the excess of security, security, cameras, and locks… I’m sure this firm has made many people upset in the past… I would not recommend this tax law firm!
