Milliken Park Community Recreation Centre

Open space with park benches for rest if needed. They have picnic blenches too but was way too crowded, even if it wasn’t COVID times. Needs a bit more TLC...lots of garbage on the fields where kids play. Other than that, a good path for a daytime stroll.

Such an amazing park to spend a day with a small lake, birds, fish and an occasional white swan.There are signages that say not to picnic and not to feed the birds, but literally everyone does what is asked of them not to do. Needs some policing to enforce discipline.

Friendly staff and very helpful. Many programs from kids to adults to seniors. Badminton, pickleball, volleyball and basketball just to name a few. There is a gym in this recreation centre along with multiple functional rooms. Parking lot isn't too bad with access in and out not being too troublesome. A park near by to be able to picnic, take a bike ride or just play in the playground. I would recommend this community centre for activities for all ages.

Great park and amenities for the community. Lot of parking spaces and very nice to take a break from the busy life and enjoy the moment not far away from home. You will still see your average waste yute making a mess or being loud as usual mostly during the weekends or for late night chillings. But our pullaingo holding it down nah I'm sayin dawg

A beautiful park in Scarborough. It has a little bit of something for every age..

Fun community location for barbeques in the summer and scenic walk. General demographic are seniors playing chess and pokemon go.Busiest in the summer. On the weekend there's usually a lot of children playing at the water park, and the gazebos are almost always rented for family events.People do forget they're not suppose to feed the birds or fish given the delicate balance of things, but even then the place is generally well kept.

Beautiful Park and it is very clean. It is my first time booking a room at this Community Centre as I have booked rooms in other parts of the GTA and everything was smooth and communication was clear ahead of time. Unfortunately staff and supervisor should be better at communicating with in terms of booking rooms. I requested ahead of time to book for a birthday and graduation celebration party a month or so in advanced. I was one of few that lost a parent during COVID and was hoping to celebrate my achievements with close family & friends and coworkers. They kept saying different things from the room being available from a certain time (4pm-9pm on July 22) as on the website - it is open until 9 or 10pm on the Saturday and to come in to fill out a form (which I did in person), to saying the facility is closed early until 6pm on requested date July 22, to fill out another form and to suddenly send it by email.. a few minutes after sending out the form to change the time for the same date for 1pm to 6pm instead.. they tell me that there is a booking for 3pm and that now the facility is closed 5pm. I was in contact with Michael and Marco.If there was a booking already on the day, then you must be clear ahead of time as it shows lack of communication and organization management. It made more work on my end to only find out the room and date is not available when there was a booking already set for the day/early closure of the Community Centre on the requested July 22.

Nice gym to play pickleball and badminton. Friendly volunteer .Clean place and good procedure forStop Covid 19 , keep social distanceand wear mask when not playing ball games. 2022 Feb
