Sheridan College - Hazel McCallion Campus

3.5 - my mark.I am currently a student at this college and I can tell that flipped classroom does not go well with some courses - such as Accounting or Math. Flipped classroom - is basically when you do all the work at home and you come to the classes prepared; and you discuss what you have learned.Staff there does not know how to respond to the questions harder than How are you?". Most of them are basic and know nothing about their job. However

I regret going here.The amount of cheating that goes on in the classes is ridiculous. Is there even a point to studying?Eventually, your degree/diploma from Sheridan will lose its integrity because it keeps putting out low-quality graduates, and you will be better off learning elsewhere.The architecture and computer science are decent.The only thing this campus has going for it is its location.

My application was filed about a month ago, and I haven't heard anything since. I'm getting more worried about the state of my application as the deadlines for the upcoming semester draw near. Although I am aware that the admissions procedure can take some time, I wanted to bring your attention to the fact that the intake period is about to end and I am unwilling to forfeit the chance to enroll in this semester. Despite my consideration of other colleges, Sheridan College continues to be my #1 choice. Therefore, I would be very grateful for any updates on the status of my application.

Great campus, and the hospitality was awesome for visitors. Unsure about the coaching yet, but overall visit was very interesting.

The most horrible experience in my life going to the gym. Associate name Omar is constantly on his phone flirting with other students talking on the phone while supposedly at work. Working out constantly not actually helping at all whatsoever. One would think that you’re back in a Third World country going to the gym. I highly recommend getting a gym membership at a mature audience gym. The “weekend” manager is the worst I have ever witnessed in my whole entire life being on this planet. He is like 100 years old and flirts with little kids. He should be put in prison or tried for a child abuse. There is no regulation here. It’s extremely sad and I highly recommend getting a lawyer before even trying to go to the gym to save yourself.. I’m giving a one star because I cannot give zero unfortunately. Save yourself from this environment..

Had and still having a bad experience. I applied last year forJanuary 2023 intake. My visa got denied. I requested a refund from the school since same January, I have sent mails upon mails and it feels like I got scammed. I need my money back but they aren’t saying anything. I don’t recommend at all and I wish I could give a zero star to be very honest .

I rate my telephone experience 0 out of 10, the lady from professional development and continuing studies hung up on me, very rude , seems to put so much effort to speak on the phone, 0 customer service skills, hey we come here and we are willing to study and pay tuition fees that pays your biweekly pay , have some respect for us , if you hate your job it's not my fault

Completely and utterly a scam for your money. Classes don't start when they say it starts, classes don't end when they say it ends. Teacher have one job and that is reading a slideshow word for word while explaining nothing, why can't we just real the slide show our selfs? Teachers get mad when your on your phone but 99% of everything about this school is online. This school is literally a scam catering international students because they pay 5x the fee. DONT GO HERE OR REGRET EVERYTHING.

My friend who is Sheridan business graduate and did several continuing ed courses after graduation, and gave so much business to the college, applied many times to get entry level job at the college, but they did not give him a chance and did not hire him. So, I would rather go to a different college, and would recommend the same to others.
