MAY 2023 - Editing to add: Another fantastic experience at Uncle Buck's/Tanner's! So wonderful to see smiles all around from the staff and get the same excellent service every single time I visit. Plus, everyday is Five Dollar Footlong Day!!!MARCH 2022 - Tanner's is simply the best place for cheap good eats. Subs are cheaper and better than Subway, everything from the grill is fantastic, and their milkshakes and soda shakes are absolutely to die for! Well worth the visit to Spryfield if you're from another neighbourhood.

Nice and polite staff, great new layout, the food is good and a good price. I was shocked when I was told it would be $5 more to add 2 strips of bacon, I just wanted a pizza sub and it turned into awkward silence when I asked what normally goes on a pizza sub.

Tonight I got the daily sandwich special, got a 12 inch turkey and bacon sub for $5 and a small fry for $3 more, with tax $9.20 out the door. Fresh ingredients and lots of meat. Forget Subway this is the place for subs.

Amazing! From the pricing, staff to how they seperate the two sides of the sub and wrap them seperate. First time eating there today. Will be back probably everyday.Great job!

Oh, lets just say, not only is the food delicious, but so are the prices. Best lunch deals in the city for a sub I reckon! I will be a repeat customer if not for the deals, but the sub sauce.

Had a wicked delicious burger here - the Mexican. It was cooked perfectly, had just the right amount of spice and was hefty. Tried the spicy fries - and they were a little sweet and spicy. Super good! Was sitting next to a large group with lots of kids and I didn't hear one complaint from them - they were all loving their food. A welcomed addition to Spryfield. Great seeing all the local sports teams posted with pride on the walls
