Monto-Reno Marina

This was where I parked to go out on the lake for ice fishing. Lot of space, maintained lot. Really close to the shoreline (obviously). $10 a day. Cash. Good spots not far off shore.

Fantastic burgers very friendly service. We come from North Bay Ontario and they remember us every time. Even from last year.

This is my happy place. For 20 years Monto Reno has been our home port. First with a trailerable boat and more recently with our yacht. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities tidy and well maintained. You can see the pride of ownership here.

Art and Bonnie are the nicest people. Bought a boat from them, and they made sure everything was perfect.

Absolutely one of the best Marina's in the Barrie Innisfil area. The service was amazing. Art was both informative and really helpful in assisting us whilst up there. Prices were really reasonable, especially a clean and spacious Marina.

Update July 2018. The only change is the restaurant has new owners.. food and service is still great but they took the fish tacos off the menu... they actually took all seafood off the menu. Too bad as the fish tacos were great, and people come to lakeside restaurants to eat fish.Reasonable fees, friendly staff, easy lake access, awesome restaurant.. just wish they had bait.This marina is in a spot along the South West shore of lake Simcoe, along with a few other marinas.I like the central location and if you're just going out for a day of fishing there is decent bass, pike and jumbo perch within a 5 minute boat ride.

Bought a used Waverunner from them in 2013. I've been using them to open and close the machine with no problems. Last summer, when opening the Waverunner, they replaced a drain plug assembly for some reason that was not noted. While using the machine or when it was up on my lift, I had no problem. When the water level dipped, I couldn't get my machine onto the lift, so I tied it up beside the lift and went on vacation. Came back to find my Waverunner had become a submarine. After refloating it and getting it back onto its trailer, I found the port drain plug assembly leaking like a sieve. When I went back to them about this issue , they were totally unhelpful and unconcerned. Well, after learning how to un-hydrolock the engine, changing oil, drying it out, rebuilding some of the electrical harness and battery terminals, and sealing the drain plug assembly I no longer need them to service my machine. There goes a 9 year relationship.

My partner and I have been to the Mono-Reno restaurant many times since the summer of 2020. The restaurant has always friendly staff and simple yet delicious food. The price of all menu items are fair and relatively inexpensive. The restaurant patio is very close to the water an makes for a nice view. The setting has a very casual appearance to it. My partner and I have not used use any other part of the marina except for the restaurant. This place is a great relaxation location for summer lunch.
