Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront

This hotel had many great things about it, like the friendliness of the staff, clean beautiful rooms, wonderful views and very nice board rooms. Also very close (walking distance) to many great restaurants. I would definitely love to stay here again. The elevators took a little too long for me and just my luck that there was always personnel also needing to take up an elevator so, waiting for one elevator was a little annoying at times. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel.

I don't know. It was an okay stay - the staff were very nice, the lobby was presentable, the rooms were average. BUT, they're under renovation right now so the place smelled very strongly of paint which gave me a headache and there was like construction dust" a little bit everywhere around our room. And we didn't receive a "renovation warning" until the day before our check in date. I get that hotels have to do renovations

Recently renovated, but you wouldn’t know it. Bed & linens comfortable and clean. Excellent location, friendly courteous staff. Way overpriced rooms for the quality of accommodation received- very very plain. Should have been half the price. Restaurant onsite breakfast included with my CAA membership was good.

The parking is tight, expensive and poorly layed out. It took about 5 minutes to check us in, I'm not sure why it takes so many clicks, but it was by far the longest check-in experience I've had. We didn't see where the renovations were taking place, but the hallways look like they're in a run down apartment building. They don't bother to clean the carpets at all, I'm assuming because they're getting replaced, but this spills over into the room's flooring as well. It was loud throughout the night and in the morning, even with the air conditioner running it was hard to sleep. Even though it is close to the water, the only view is of docked boats. With no complimentary breakfast, the only positive to this hotel is the location, but even then you're paying more for parking than if you parked anywhere else downtown. We got $100 off and it still wasn't worth the price, I recommend the Comfort Inn and Suites instead for a better stay in every way.

We had a booking for 2 nights, their room service is best and the best part about their place is the view. It’s so calm and soothing. I always prefer Delta hotels anywhere I travel. The only issue at this location was the parking. First of all it’s pricey and secondly it’s hard to find an empty lot. And my second issue is the smell in the elevator and at the lobby was insane like some chemicals, I completely understand that they’re having renovations done so no issue with that.Rest it’s the best

Location was wonderful on the waterfront. Easy to walk to area shops and restaurants. Room was nice and updated. Comfy beds. Only complaint would be the parking. Luckily we found a close spot but the garage was extremely tight.

Great location, but awful parking. Staff were super friendly. Rooms are pretty typical for a delta, clean and comfortable. Renovations were underway, but had no impact on my stay. Overall, it's great if you need to be in this area (like I did). If your location is a bit more flexible, the extra cost of staying and parking here is just not worth it.

We were forced to stay at this location due to the local hockey tournament. Very expensive! Location was great as it was close to everything. First night couldn't get into our room and it took us four trips to the front desk to finally realized that it was a dead battery. Second night was a bit noisy with the hockey teams having fun but we all had a good night as the beds were comfortable. It is a hockey tournament afterall. Couldn't use the pool due to it leaking and told that it was the kids fault playing in it. Couldn't check out early to get some of my money back. Team request a meeting room to stay in one location... Hotel closed it at 9:30pm due to lack of staff. Then Hotel gave final warning to everyone that we will be charged for any further violations... Never got a first one and was provided no proof that it was any of our teammates.Great hotel if you are retired... Not a great group hotel... Could have been great time if some planning was done... More staff, reserved party rooms, better communication and some understanding of what they were signing up to when they accepted kids hockey teams. Will have a very hard time coming back to Kingston at this hotel.

Comfy beds, great view, easy close parking, food was amazing, Conner at the bar made our night and can make some fabulous drinks! Patrick at the front desk was an absolute delight and was one of our highlights! Loved that all the cleaning staff always made a point of sating hello. Just one thing - the tub didn’t drain and so they moved us to another room - these things happen… no big deal! Can’t wait to come back. Pool very clean!
