Prairie Battery

We needed our battery replaced and were recommended by Curtis from Winnipeg Boosting Service (also excellent!) to go to Prairie Battery It turned out the connections on our dead battery were very unusual and had to be replaced. There was another customer there whose business is auto electrics who had never seen the configuration of our battery connections before. Jeff worked for about an hour getting the battery disconnected, figuring out a solution to install the new one and finally getting it installed. He went way above and beyond for us - even had another staff person run down the street to pick up the needed parts to make it work! He cleaned up the corrosion, and got us up and running. The price was also great - less than the major chains would have charged. I also think another garage wouldn't have been able to fix this. We couldn't be happier or more grateful. great service, I lost my favourite butt plug here at the store, called the store didn’t catch the guys name, he said he assures me it wasn’t there, he was right. It was in my butt the whole time great service no shaming I will be coming in soon!!

I highly recommend Prairie Battery. They were friendly and made everything very easy for me. I just showed up and said I needed a new battery for my vehicle and they got me one immediately all charged up ready to go and even installed it for me on a very hot and sweaty day. Excellent service and product support. I had an issue with my Genius charger and it had a damaged cable AC cable. This to me was a manufacturing issue and it had created an electrocution or fire hazard. I presented this to Prairie battery and there were more than considerate and solve the problem and replace the unit with a new one. Thank you for the good service

Cannot recommend them enough. I originally bought from them because I price compared and they had a stronger battery for cheaper than the competition. I had issues with my battery installation and the tech today definitely went above and beyond in helping me with my issue.

Had super great service- they thawed and recharged my battery for me when it was frozen and I had somehow managed to drain it completely. They also gave me a loaner so I could still use my car in the meantime. Their help was greatly appreciated and I'd recommend to anyone!

Had a mishap with my alternator power wire (xposed wire) needed to purchase shrink tubbing so I figured I’d stop in and ask if they had any for sale and the gentleman said yeah we have that he took my wire to the back and came out minutes later with the wires fully repaired with the matching color shrink tubing and handed it to me and said all good no charge how awesome is that I will certainly go back with all my battery needs thanks Prairie battery!

Visited Prairie Battery looking to replace my battery. Just like the sign out front says. They really do treat you like family. Geoff and all the other staff were friendly right from the start. Really do make you feel like your family.

These guys are rockstars!! I brought them with what I thought was a frozen dead battery, They recharged and load tested it and 2 days later I got it back no charge (No pun intended). Very professional, high integrity and a pleasure to deal with!! Thank you Prairie Battery!!
