Sandy is the best instructor I’ve ever worked with. She’s kind, knowledgeable and very patient.The facilities are clean, bright, and are so well-maintained. All of the horses are very mannered and very beginner friendly (if that’s a concern for you). My whole family did lessons with Sandy, and they all loved it. Both the horses and Sandy are great with accommodating all levels of experience and different ages. Everyone I’ve spoken to who has been a student of Sandy’s has said that she’s the best instructor they have ever had. I’ve been to both meadowlarke and creditview, but Tarwin outshines both of them in all aspects, from the teaching style to the facilities and even to the environment Sandy is able to create. I cannot recommend Tarwin farms more!!

I’ve been riding at Tarwin for over 10 years and I can honestly say that it has changed my life for the better! Sandy is an excellent instructor for students of all ages! Encouraging, kind and always supportive! I would highly recommend Tarwin Farm. It is like a warm and caring family!

Great place for riding lessons. My 7 year old started about 6 months ago and the barn is one of her favourite places to be with her fellow riders and, of course, the horses. This is a great farm that's run exceptionally well and is highly recommended.

My daughter and I have been taking lessons with Sandy at Tarwin Farm for almost 10 years now! It’s a great environment for riders young and not so young :) The horses are excellent partners and very friendly. I would highly recommend contacting Sandy if you are interested in hunter/jumper lessons.

My 9 year old daughter started riding with Sandy at Tarwin about 1.5yrs ago. From the moment she set foot in the barn, it’s been a welcoming second family to have joined! She’s learned so much, in such a short time thanks to the excellent leadership she’s received. The horses are wonderful, and make her (and the myself) so happy whenever we arrive! Our days at the farm are our favourite days of the week! I highly recommend Tarwin Farm:)

I have been riding with Tarwin since I was 8 or 9 years old, I’m almost 20 now. Tarwin is my home and I wouldn’t want to call anywhere else my second home. I have so much love for Sandy who is our incredible coach and so much love for all the amazing horses. Fantastic environment and a very welcoming family for anyone looking for horseback riding lessons at any level.
