Tip of the Tail

We were taking our 10 month old pup to the offleash at edworthy Park for the first time and I was terrified, as our pups recall wasn't 100% yet. We met Tony that day while he was out walking a clients dog. Tony walked and talked with us while the dogs played, only mentioning he did this for a living towards the very end of the walk. I was so thankful to him for being there that day to ease my anxiety and walk with us out of the goodness of his heart. However, regardless of our first encounter it was still extremely hard for me to trust a stranger alone with my dog. Tony was really good at hearing my fears and returning with compassionate responses. We loved getting to see photos of our pup playing with all his friends. Tony was also good to give us feedback on how our pup behaved on walks. He truly cares about the safety of his pack and I cannot thank him enough for that!

Horrible experience, I’d rather have my dog walk free than walk with these folks

This has been such a positive experience for us. It really it true that us humans are the ones who need the training!!! Having an outside view from a professional helped us catch the ways we were forming bad habits for our intelligent, high energy friend. A lot of extra time (which we were never charged for) was spent watching us interact with our dog and explaining why our actions were leading to certain behaviours. It didn’t take long and things are so much better, everyone is much happier! If there is any negative it is that we are jealous of how happy our buddy is to see someone else!!!! She acts like a kid going to visit a favourite relative. It’s obvious she is well cared for from how excited she gets every time. We can’t recommend Tip of the Tail highly enough if you truly love your furry friend, they will thank you for it!!
