Don River East Bridge

This bridge is part of the trail that recently opened up. It's not my favourite trail but it's certainly worth a visit, I think.

Beautiful

The Don River East Bridge is an excellent trail for a walking, biking, running, and dog walking anytime of the year! The trail is right beside the Don River which can make the walk a bit chilly. However the scenery is beautiful, with trees, plants and animals you would not see in urban parts of Toronto. The train tracks are an exquisite feature to the trail, making it seem exotic and memorable. The detailed framework of the tracks is truly astonishing. The train tracks are visible from many angles of the trail, so if you wish to be completely engulfed by nature with no sight of industrial human structures, this may not be the perfect trail for you. The Don River East Bridge is a nice trail with little to no disturbance from the “outside world”. When in the area I recommend you check it out for leads of fun in nature!

Accessible walking paths but a steep hill down. Nice to see the waterways and nature around them.
