I was at the Launch for the first time this summer. The place was busy but everyone did a great job, there is a staging area for preparing your boat before you launch which really keeps the wait time in the launch down.A storm blew in that afternoon and it was refreshing to see the professionalism and approach. Staff, owners and a few regulars were directing traffic, guiding those backing up and doing everything possible to get everyone off the water safely. It’s not just a business, but a community of boaters with passion for the lake. Even took the time to recommend a great local restaurant while we waited out the storm. Can’t wait to be back this summer.

Good morning to all new to be and existing pontoon owners. If you want state of the art boat launch with best family style customer service experience- this is the place to be. We lived at various countries across Europe and USA, but what we experienced at small town of Sylvan is hard to beat. Awesome design, two lane in and out launch, waiting dock, all you need to make sure your boat will get in and out without the scratch. Nice store, tasty coffee, clean washrooms and warm greetings. Keep up good work guys. We will be back. Cheers!

Stopped in here today and met the new owners. All I can say is wow! The changes, renovations and future plans here are amazing! Great to see people investing in this property it’s truly one of a kind!! Looking forward to seeing what’s to come here!

This place is exactly what Sylvan Lake needed! The staff and ownership are warm, friendly and so helpful. They take a lot of pride in their property. The staging area that’s been created to allow time and space to blow up tubes, get organized and prepped for the water is perfect and on busy days there is always some around directing traffic.The launch fee is very reasonable for the facility you get and they offer a number of options to bring down the cost if you are a frequent user. The staff member was very good at explaining to me all my options and directing me towards parking. All the extra amenities make it a great local business, whether you just want a coffee and watch the marina, using the launch or looking for a new life jacket.

I made a recent purchase at The Launch. Scott communicated well and was nice to deal with. Everything was as stated and ready to go when I arrived. Good friendly service. Well Done.

We have been frequent users of this property. The service is first class. We stopped in on a quiet rainy day in June and we were greeted with a large selection of gear and a delicious latte. Scott took the time to educate us on surfboard options and got the entire family outfitted with their first boards and all the necessary accessories for our new boat.We purchased a launch pass and have since upgraded to the unlimited pass. Every time we stop in the staff greet the kids by name, check to see how we are doing and assist is in any possible way. We are loving our new boat and the Launch has made it so easy for us to get on the water. Keep up the good work!

Scott and the gang at The Launch are first class. There is always a friedly face to greet you, clean washrooms, a tasty snack (damn those cinnamon buns taste like heavan), always staff around to direct traffic in the parking lot and boat launch. Also they have a good selection of watersport accessories. They take pride in their facility and this shows through the hard work that has been put into it. Scott, an owner there always will go out of his way to help anytime, understands the lake like and very familiar with Sylvan. His knowledge on boards and service are really truly appreciated. Great work!

Just checked out the Launch. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable ownership and a fully stocked retail shop and cafe. We had forgotten a few items needed for the long weekend and grabbing a life jacket, a new tube and some extra snacks while launching in one of the nicest boat launches I have seen made a perfect start to our long weekend. Looking forward to future visits.

We spent the weekend in Sylvan for the first time in several years. We had read horrible things about wait times at Sunbreaker and heard horror stories of prop damage at other locations on the lake. On the recommendation of some friends we tried this spot. WOW!!!Everything was perfect. The facility is beautiful, the store is well equipped with a variety of accessories, the snacks from other local businesses were tasty and the staff and owners went above and beyond. The $99 pass was perfect for our three launches over the weekend. The kids loved picking up the single serve gelatos at the end of a day of surfing and tubing and can’t wait to come back for more.
