Last Thursday we decided on adopting a new dog (Jimmy). The staff was honest about not knowing what Jimmy would be like with our 5 year old daughter, without knowing his past. We took a chance anyway, and we couldn’t be happier. Jimmy is a gentle, kind and loving young male lab mix. Thank you very much

Dropped off a cat we found roaming, and they took it in and nursed it back to strong&healthy.

Adopt or donate! This is a place of true love for animals and finding their forever families! Such wonderful staff and so accommodating. Don’t read the hate comments, it’s a shelter yes animals smell hahaha! Meet Wally (Wallace Cleaver).

They were waiting for me, I was early for my appointment.I was able to buy all they had in stocking stuffers for cats and dogs.

I adopted a dog and the staff was so helpful! They were very knowledgeable about the dogs' temperaments and history and honest about what kind of home the animals needed. We ended up with the perfect pup for us!

This last week I picked up my cat, and they were so accommodating. Over the course of the week before they had talked with me through what I was looking for, and they eventually sent me pictures of their kittens available. On Sunday after I fell in love, yes before even meeting her, they held her for me until Tuesday. On Tuesday I loved her, and took her home. The process was very smooth. They gave me some food for her as well while I introduced a new brand and gave me her health records and walked me through what needs to happen over the next year. Before giving her to me they treated her again for worming and flees just in case. I was so impressed. After a few days of a little anxiety, she doesn’t leave my side and has the coolest personality. Too smart for her own good.Some of the reviews below mention clutter outside, what they are failing to understand is that people just drop off donations for what they think is a “good” condition item. When you don’t have a place to put garbage stuff naturally it’s outside until garbage day.Overall this is a good place and they do their very best for the amount of animals they are receiving. Naturally with a shelter pet, they won’t have all of their history, so naturally some come with issues that they may not have been aware of.
