Though I have not visited the store in person I decided to order a few products online due to the positive reviews and praise people have indicated whilst dealing with the owner. Needless to say I was very impressed with the ease of purchase and straightforward approach of the online storefront.The products I was planning on purchasing had yet to arrive to the store and this was indicated on the items online purchase page. I placed the order and received the confirmation of sale via email right away. Once the items arrived at the store a few days later they were shipped out the very next business day and to my doorstep the day after. Everything arrived in perfect condition and was exactly as ordered.Thus I am very impressed, and rating Railway City Hobbies the 5 stars it deserves for it's online shopping experience and fantastic prices. I look forward to stopping by the store in person and offer my continued business in the future.

Good selection of model cars at comparable prices as any other store. The website isn't up to date but for cars they have way more in store than the site

The owner was very friendly and helped me perfectly with my order. I was very impressed and look forward to visiting again as my boys have sparked a keen interest in all things train related. This place has a great selection of trains, especially HO scale products made by fellow Canadian company Rapido Trains.I have made a few direct purchases from them online in recent years and have had nothing but great experiences with prices, selection, and shipping speed.I live in California and can pay in Canadian dollars with my credit card that does not charge foreign transaction fees, so I come out ahead, too!And it's good for their business, too, because they also have an eBay store that will hit them up with seller fees. So buy directly from them, they're a small business.

Nice spot. Tons of variety, trains, planes, tanks, cars, and decorative items. Decent pricing too. Only reason I give 4 stars is the place could use a bit of a clean up. The store is in disarray.

An excellent neighborhood hobby shop for HO scale trains. Granted I live over a thousand miles away from that neighborhood, however they were prompt in responding to emails, they ship to the USA, and their prices are competitive, which is especially needed as HO scale train prices have skyrocketed. Overall I would recommend them and definitely will do business with them again. Mr. M. P.

Haven't been to his retail store but ordered several things online. Communication is always great as are his prices. The pre-order process is super easy. Have recommended him and his business to others.

They never called me to let me know to pay my deposit for preorder last year. Email is unreliable. Oh well l'll give my business to someone more local.

Unfortunately the website is not updated and some items are not available. One car listed is actually not in the store as I bought the last one a few months ago. The online shopper needs to be cautious, email the store prior to buying. I almost bought a locomotive and it was in fact gone! Good products yet availability is the concern. It would also aid shoppers to remove all items that are still present on the page and yet cannot be restocked.
