Floors Plus

The customer service is terrible. I was in to pick out tiles. I was pointed in the direction of the sample boards. I had questions, so I stood by a group of employees that were chatting. They ignored me for the longest time until I interrupted them. I ended up ordering my tiles over the phone with James. I asked if I had extra tiles, if I could return them, and I was told that I could within 30 days with a 30% restock fee. He advised me to order a few extra just in case, and knowing that I could return them, I did. After our install, I called and spoke to James about returning the extras. First he said that I needed a receipt that he knew I didn't have (I never got one because I ordered on the phone, then had to go pick up from the supplier myself, and I didn't think to ask for a receipt to be emailed), and that it was kind of close " to the 30 day limit. Then he said that I would have to call the following day to ask the manager. I went back to the store

Bought auto window coverings through their representative and had nothing but problems, took months-one year to get it right. Multiple installers until finally one did it right. Not much time passed and I had requested someone just come by to show me how to set the blind height (instructions are terrible, makes no sense) and the same rep who did a terrible job told me “you know there’s a fee”. So let me get this straight? You mess up half a dozen times, send untrained workers to do a poor job, which causes me to spend my days off (for days and days)and when i need 10 min of your time, you want to charge? Word to the wise, do not do business with their commercial window covering representative. Once he has your money, you will be an afterthought.

I've dealt with Paul at this location for several years on numerous occasions. He has been able to help select great tile and is very helpful at times when we are in a pinch to make sure we get what we need.

My wife and I went to many flooring places, but settled on an Everwood floor from Floors Plus in Bayer’s lake Halifax.We had a few issues getting the floor(not Floors Plus fault)James went out of his way to keep checking on the progress and keeping us informed. On his day off, Paul also helped us out.Very pleased with the service we received.Lorne
