Amazing & affordable hot pot restaurant!!The food was great and the prices were so worth it!! Had one free drink on the side per hot pot combo, we got the fruit tea and the black tea and both were so good!! Definitely should've ordered another before leaving.The prices were so affordable and the portion was just right for me. The free ice cream at the end was perfect as well. We ordered two hot pot combos with mine being $20-ish for beef brisket, which already included a lot of veggies (had 1 piece shrimp, some tofu, and just a lot of other veggies in general + an egg), plus the option of either rice/vermicelli/udon, one drink (i miss the fruit tea fr), and vanilla ice cream (which was a nice dessert to have after a spicy meal).Didn't have any problems at all with the food and atmosphere, though I noticed that they definitely are very short-staffed. The staff and their service was great but it took a while to get seatings despite there being plenty of empty ones though dirty from previous customers. It also took quite a while for us to get our order written down (but didn't take long for the hot pot to arrive! though they almost forgot the sauce and egg but not a big deal at all).Overall, the food was great. I definitely recommend if looking for hot pot for a cheap price and great quality!

Pearl Hot Pot
The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Always checking to see if we needed anything, no pressure to leave at certain time, we ate and chat on this very cold day, the seafood combo hot pot was the perfect choice and all the vegetables make me feel like I was eating so healthy, for lunch it also came with my choice of ice cold green tea in a bubble style cup and to top it off green tea soft ice cream, there are different flavors also! I think I will return soon.

To preface, we arrived for dinner on a Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm. The restaurant was not very busy so the customer service was great!We were well attended to, the server was very kind and patient with us as we had questions in understanding the menu options and what was all included. They noticed when our broth was running low and offered free refill before we could ask. I dropped my spoon on the ground and they came by with a new spoon before I could ask! Very attentive, kind, welcoming and hospitable service.The music was a reasonable volume, we could hear ourselves talk. The server was in a good mood singing along to the music and it was a cheerful, laid back atmosphere!The food was VERY GOOD! Such good value for the combo meals provided. We all went with the house chicken broth that was included and the sauce they included was SO FLAVOURFUL. My husband enjoyed mixing the sauce with his broth for extra flavour. The vegetable bowl that comes with each combo is so full and comes with 1 shrimp, 2 tofu, 1 cheese mochi dumpling and 1 squid ball. We ate til we were very full and satisfied and still brought a lot of the food home.I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! Just come during downtime to ensure quick service. The food, drinks, and ice cream was incredibly delicious and amazing value!

Ambience is really good, decor was very chic. They have a combo which provides a lot of variety, including meat, vegetables, a starch, an egg, stock, and dessert.They were lacking stock and sauce options, black vinegar in particular smelled like band-aids and mainly was 沙茶. In particular, their meat combo comes with seafood-based foods like shrimp and puffs, and 沙茶 is made of seafood as well, so they really lacked options for reverse pescatarians.豆卜 was dense, 牛腱 was dry and lacking flavour, 熏鸡 did not taste fresh. Ice cream was crystal-like and flavourless.Overall forgettable food, but lovely atmosphere, value, and people.

This was the first time my partner and I have come here. To our surprise, it was a tasty meal and experience that offered a lot for the price of each hot pot combo.Unlike most hot pot places I've been to, Pearl Hot Pot offers individual hotpot that you cook the ingredients yourself (the servers control the heat for you). Each combo is served with its respective meat, noodles, a cold drink, and ice cream at the end! The soup base that comes with the combo is pretty plain, but it was the one we chose as it was our first time there; there are other soup bases that you can have for some additional charge. They give you a really tasty dipping sauce that's full of flavour!The service was quick and on point, as the two bustling servers went back and forth serving, cleaning, and controlling the heat (possibly more!). I really liked the atmosphere as it felt like some hole-in-the-wall place with its shaded windows and bar-style hot pot counters.We would most likely come back to try the different meats and soup bases again!

This is the best hot pot place in the Vancouver area! I go at least once a week, all the staff are friendly, food always comes out fast, and it is the best quality food! Also, it is the only hot pot place that I've been to that isn't super oily or greasy which I love, and the sets are filling and super affordable. They also always accommodate for food allergies. If you go I recommend making a reservation as they are usually busy. Overall, I love this place, couldn't recommend it enough!

Pearl Hot Pot
Food is fresh and very good value for the price. The dipping sauce is good and is very tasty. Each person get their own pot, so no sharing and everyone is cooking their own food. The combo comes with udon or vermicelli, refill for soup or dipping sauce, choice of meat, veggie bowl, one egg, and a drink. Service is good considering only one waitress attending almost a full house. Street parking is easy and free. They accept cash and credit card.

Pearl Hot Pot serves individual hot pots which is great for people who want to dine out with others, while sticking to individual dietary restrictions. There's meat, seafood and vegetables on their menu; all of these come in many different combinations. The combo meals include a drink & dessert, and offer exceptionally great value.We had a variety of meat, seafood, and vegetarian combos on our table. The food was delicious. Our young daughter who's a picky eater decided to try the Vegetarian pot like me. Getting her to eat her veggies is often a struggle at home; she ate up nearly everything in her meal at Pearl Hot Pot, and only needed help with a few mushrooms that were left in her pot. I thoroughly enjoyed my Vegetarian pot. My husband was amazed to see me not only eat up everything in my pot, but drink up every last drop of soup as well.The service could have been better, but if I were rating them on the food alone, I'd be giving them 4 stars.
