This is how their vaccine booster booking system works. From what I understand.Pick a time, input your info. Get a confirmation.Show up prior to the appointment, sign-in.Your name gets dropped in the pharmacists basket and then you wait while they work through filling prescriptions, talking on the phone or to customers in store - until they get to your name.It could take a half hour, 40 minutes. I waited for close to a half hour past my scheduled time and finally cancelled and left. Factoring in the time you have to wait after being jabbed it would have been at least an hour.During the wait, not one person was vaccinated.I'm confused why they have a system requiring you to book a specific time when they have no one on site administering vaccines other than someone clearly too busy to do it.It's also a small space with more staff (none approved to administer vaccines apparently) than square footage.If you have a day to waste I highly recommend visiting this location.

I have had multiple bad experiences at this location and will not be going back. They do not contact you if they are having an issue filling your prescription (if you requested a refill through the Rexall app), and I almost had to go who knows how long without antidepressants because I ordered a refill a week early and they claimed they didn't get the paperwork from my family doctor to refill it. I checked with my doctor; she had sent them a refill order, two days before I visited the location. This was not the first problem I've had there. I almost had to pay for a very expensive medication because an employee incorrectly entered my gender, which caused it to not be covered by OHIP+. I had the script transferred to the Rexall on Broadview, and they were much more helpful and fixed the issue.

The staff are lovely, helpful and dedicated to helping customers; however, they are very hard to connect with by phone. Even my family doctor couldn't get through to them and voice measages are never answered. It's a small store attached to a clinic...they should be more accessible and better staffed.

When your a bussiness with an online presence I expect it to be upkept and your hours correctly updated as they change.You constantly cost me time and money going there just for you to be closed. A piece of paper on the door does not suffice. And I would know you were closed when you didn't answer but its already impossible to get you on the phone when you are open anyways.Decent service technically because I get my scripts(eventually) but the absolute bottom of the battle customer service.

My spouse went here first to obtain prescriptions, which took over 5 days as they didn't have the medication in stock. Following this, he attended to receive his first Covid vaccine and arrived a few minutes early. He didn't mind waiting, but they way in which they spoke & dealt with him were extremely rude. Returning to collect his next prescription he was treated the same way again... Yesterday he attended again, for new prescriptions and was treated rudely again, they totally ignored his presence until he spoke up, dealing with other customers who came in after he was already there... Honestly, If you don't want to deal with customers, then why are you in an industry that requires that you do? Unacceptable

Charges $12 service fee on top of a $39 prescription nasal spray that was readily packed. What for? Not so in (some) other pharmacies.

I’ve had some prescriptions take a little longer but usually it’s very quick. Depends on the level of business.The pharmacist/s are super friendly and it’s located conveniently next to Albany walk in clinic!

I went to buy a box of 10 mask , $10 that is price gouging at its best.I purchased the mask as I need it I then ask to leave the box there if some needed they could give them. I later found out the Albany clinic gives you if you need.I understand yes a business needs to make a profit . This is so sad

Thought convenient because beside walk in clinic.Waited 45 minutes when there were only 2 people in the store.Second time here and both times it took forever.Staff are nice but highly recommend that you go somewhere else.

I have a time released med, on refill, that I had to wait 6 HOURS to get today. I was literally In communication with them, on and off, from when they opened untill just before 2pm when my pills were in my hand.Its irresponsible and unacceptable.There is an on-going issue with the older female pharmacist claiming not to have received my refills request from the Dr.This has happened every time since I started this med. She dosnt seem to understand how her technology works because she can't find the response messages sent from the Dr.... whos literally upstairs.The Dr who I contacted and got confirmation of the communication.I also feel a fair amount of judgment towards myself from the pharmacist because it's a restricted med. She always mentions it & that makes me feel stigmatized. She acts like she dosnt know or remember me which is extremely dismissive.I'm switching pharmacys.
