Tropicana Suite Hotel

Room were filthy. Don't go on the balcony. The door security is a 2×4 piece of wood holding the door. Tpilets dont flush. Because of that i didnt shower. The front desk is clueless. I asked to charge on debit and she put through my credit card. When I pointed it out she literally said it's nobodies fault". She wouldn't reverse the charge.Steer clear. I'd rather stay in a hostel for a better price."

Cute little place. Excellent location and very sweet, helpful staff. Asna was wonderful. Dated, but spacious, comfortable rooms. Full kitchen, great view, super cosy

We stayed here for a couple nights and it was great. Location is near do many restaurants and stores. The layouts was ideal for a bedroom and livingroom which we used the hides bed which was surprisingly comfy as another bedroom. Cute little kitchen and dining area we had and loved the balcony views in both rooms. The front desk was so nice when I came back to retrieve my forgotten charger. We'll be back, it was a comfortable, clean place. Like a small apartment layout.

We were made very welcome by Asna and the other hotel staff,always saying good morning and good evening on our way to our rooms.Our room was spacious, and kept spotlessly clean and everything we needed worked fine. I guess some items looked like they needed an update, but this is a minor thing. Loved being able to open the windows wide for a nice breeze in the room.I am quite sensitive about lifts, and found the lifts to be sturdy and pleasant to use, and I was quite at ease with them.Overall, we had a great 6 nights stay and I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget, but still want a central location. Oh - there are so many food places choose from, you are spoilt for choice !Thank you !

Asna was great and allowed us to check in early which was a big help. Also allowed us to store luggage before and after check in and check out. Stanley Park is a short walk and the hotel is located in the middle of a trendy area with lots of good restauranats. Older hotel but plenty of space and relatively quiet.

This place was great. We had an amazing experience here. The price was great, it’s obviously not a fancy hotel but it had everything we needed. Perfect for a university student, vibes, price and location. We will definitely come back to this hotel when we come back to Vancouver.

outdated, run down, wouldn't spend more than 100$ ( that's being generous)on these rooms. elevator feels as though it'll break down while using it.would be a great location for a thriller low budget film

Asna was excellent, as well as the other gentleman at the front desk. Nice retro hotel in a safe and walkable neighborhood.

Very old hotel, leaky toilets. Great staff though! Good location and affordable.
